Thanks for the report, I see the problem. I see you created one site and then another one immediately after that. Did you delete the first one? Could you please help me investigate this - what were the actions that lead to this? Thanks!
Mailchimp and others can be integrated using code injections, i.e. if you want to collect emails for the newsletter.
"Wordpress integration" is a very broad idea, need more specifics about what exactly the needs are.
Selling digital products is definitely planned on npub.pro, there is already a nostr-standard for that, we just need to build support for it.
I've just tried signing in with Amber 2 times - by scanning a QR code, and by clicking "Amber", both times it completed ok after I grant the permission.
Can you please try to connect to Amber with some other app, i.e. nostrudel - https://nostrudel.ninja/#/signin/nostr-connect - does it work there?
Strange, I just tried to log into npub.pro with Amber using bunker url, worked fine - after pasting the url I had to go back to Amber to confirm the permissions, then it worked.
Hi, can you please tell me more about your setup? Is nsec.app tab open? Is it in the same browser? Why are you using connection string, why not just clicking on nsec.app in Connect screen? Thanks!
Thanks for the report, are you publishing some images right from the nostr.build admin panel? I guess they just don't have full hashtag support yet. cc @The Fishcake🐶🐾@nostr.build
Zaps and nostr comments are already supported on npub.pro sites, other stuff like reposts reactions highlights etc are coming too. Please let me know if you have any questions or feedback.
Houston, we have a problem!
Anyone knows any open source PWA (website) that shows you push notifications when added to homescreen on iOS?
iOS 16.4 got web push out of experimental, and now any PWA added to homescreen is supposed to show notifications. But our nsec.app won't show it until you manually launch it. Need an example of some app that figured it out.
Any help appreciated!
Thanks!
I could index alt and summary too, I wonder which app is misusing the alt - it's supposed to be something like "File <mime>: <summary>" instead of something like "anchorman-jump".
A self-hosted version of Nsec.app has arrived!
This was long in the pipeline, and we are finally ready to show it.
Nsec.app normally stores your keys in your browser, which is great (non-custodial), but is sometimes unreliable in handling background requests.
With this hosted version you can run your own instance of nsec.app where keys are stored on your server and are always online!
Here is how to launch it with Docker: https://github.com/nostrband/noauth?tab=readme-ov-file#running-hosted-version-with-docker
Basically, the code that normally lives in your browser's service worker executes on a nodejs server in this hosted version. Some important points:
- keys encrypted by password are still saved on nsec.app server, which means you can login on other devices with nsec.app
- the UI for key access is not protected in any way - whoever has access to the UI endpoint can control the app permissions (but can't access keys - those are on the server)
We hope to make Nsec.app a useful app for Umbrel and Start9 stores, please let us know what's missing or needs improvement!
It's basically the same nip46 server, but nsecbunker server also supports some custom admin RPC so that nsecbunker.com UI could talk to any nsecbunker server. Plus limited access to UI - assign admin pubkeys, those can log in to UI using nip07 to control the keys.
Nsec.app hosted has no UI access control for now, and no way to access your hosted instance from external network.
Updated Nostr-Login widget with "nostrconnect:" support!
Below is a short demo. We reworked the UI to group the options better, and the main addition is support for nostrconnect: nip46 connection strings. These allow us to have a one-click experience when connecting to key store, instead of having to enter a user name. Bonus - quick access to Amber app!
Npub.pro sites and all apps using latest nostr-login should be updated now.

Try choosing Advanced -> Connection string in the site, copy the string and in Amber go to permissions, +, Paste - maybe that one works. Although in my case it's the reverse - Amber works if I click "Amber" on the site, but doesn't if I scan/paste the string. Already reported, so maybe it gets fixed
Did Amber work with other apps? If you reload the page and try again - does it work?
Check that Amber has network perms, that it's launched, that you have Notification Type = Direct or have nfty installed, update to latest if not helping, ask @greenart7c3 if still no luck 😉
Try switching notification type to Direct, please. nostr:nprofile1qqs827g8dkd07zjvlhh60csytujgd3l9mz7x807xk3fewge7rwlukxgpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhszrnhwden5te0dehhxtnvdakz7qgswaehxw309ahx7um5wghx6mmd9usjfpck looks like notif server is not working again
Hi, should be fixed now - the red warnings aren't appearing and publishing of comment should be faster. Could you please check? Updated on https://reiartur.npub.pro , coming to other sites soon too. Thanks!
There is tool for importing stuff from Ghost at https://npub.pro/import-ghost but not for synching in real time. Not sure if full copying would be a great idea, but maybe auto-sharing a link on nostr would make sense.
@greenart7c3 trying Amber finally, can establish a connection using nostrconnect:, but then it won't process any requests. Does it require push api to receive requests? I installed nfty, but Amber says "Failed to register with push", although I see your registration in nfty. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
We will support whichever kind is used for podcasts to provide RSS feeds until apps start fetching from relays directly. I agree podcast is very different from generic "audio" or a "song", because for starters these days it's very often a video...
Hi! Thanks for the input!
1. Which extension, browser, OS are you on, please? I see both of your sites in admin panel https://npub.pro/admin when logged in as you. I also see them at the site list at /sites
2. In /admin there is a Delete site button.
There might be cors errors due to site previews trying to render various third-party resources (images, link previews etc), that's probably irrelevant.
Import content from Ghost to Nostr, anyone?
Here is a work-in-progress tool for that: https://npub.pro/import-ghost
You can bring articles from your Ghost site to Nostr and make them accessible for people here to zap/react/comment.
Eventually the tool will let you copy all website settings from Ghost to an npub.pro site. For now - content only.
Ghost is great, but nothing beats adding your cryptographic signature to your article and broadcasting it to an open interoperable network, right?!
P.S. A reminder about a similar tool for Twitter: https://exit.pub
Well then you probably want to just share links to your new posts on nostr. Yes it won't be great for seo if we create a duplicate. Sample sites are at https://npub.pro/sites
Looking forward to working with you!
