Building sites backed by nostr might take the web to the next level. Social networks became the primary tool for "homepages for ordinary people" because nostr didn't exist. Now with nostr publishing on the web will be taken to the next level of ease and usability, this is very exciting! 

So you're proposing a kind of a website builder where you compose a page from blocks which might contain nostr events? That sounds totally possible! Thanks for the idea! Need to think through how this could be built on top of a theme that the site is using.

There is an event describing your site and which kinds/tags to include, there are theme events, etc. And then the website engine pulls your notes matching the filters. 

 I agree, we need more nostr there, at least optionally. There will be html meta tags with npub/noteid/naddr and full event in schema.org json somehow. I think "Open with" buttons under posts/authors would be nice too. And the "what is nostr" explainer sounds nice!

 I agree with everything you say, and I don't think nostr should aim to be a network independent of the web standards. But I also think web might benefit in many ways if we inject nostr somewhere between http transport and html presentation layer (like we do with npub.pro sites, and like all web nostr apps do), which is what I meant when I said "rebuild the web on top of nostr". Should I have said "rebuild the web WITH nostr"?

 Hi, you're right, search isn't working yet - many Ghost themes have the search button but it's not implemented yet in our engine. It's coming soon. 

 It's not about search backend - this app is powered by nostr.band relay which we built. The npub.pro sites have all the data cached locally, they don't even need a relay, we just need a nice UI for searching. Work on search started today. 

 Sorry they'll have to wait a bit more before I get closer to inbox zero 😉

 You can edit those posts to add some tag, and then add navigation item leading to that tag (/tag/sometag) and give Articles label to that navigation item. Would that work!

I'd recommend you to review your relay selection - you have way too many relays, at least a dozen of which is old and offline, which means the clients you're using (and your nostr-site) are wasting time trying to connect and talk to those relays. A dozen of alive relays is more than enough, you have 50+.
