@67cfa6a3 indeed. and the slightly quirky eccentricity of it all just feels so right 😀
@39c11d1e That Tuxedo control centre is wild, how you can control the number of CPUs and frequency for different profiles. Never seen anything like that on a laptop before. So cool.

@18f7cd54 I have never been included in such a list before. Thank you for the kind words, it made me a little emotional. I hope nobody in the office noticed I had lots of dust in my eyes 🥹

 In English:

I cooked Ukrainian food again.

Yesterday, "fried green tomatoes with cheese (feta)", "beetroot, apple and nuts", and "kale with sour cream and dill".

Today, "stewed cabbage with red pepper and sour cream".

It was all delicious 🤤

I think that Ukrainian cuisine is one of the best in the world.
Really enjoyed this quick early look by @486f160e at Foundry. Looks like a great 3d Factorio-style game.

Factorio is one of my favourite games of all time, so anything in the same genre is interesting to me.

Very excited to see how this one develops, but the basics shown in this video look compelling.

Я люблю ії. Я думаю, що вона одна з моя улюблена художниця. Творчість ії - дуже гарно, дуже дуже красиво 😊

Ії життя - дуже емоційне. Та ії смерть, дуже сумне 😥
@429a868f That is great Olga. Your English is very good already, I understood everything you said. And I never knew you felt you need to improve, I write like normal to you.

It is important to practise all the time. I saw my neighbour on Thursday. I remember her English one year ago when they came here, and it has improved so much because she uses it every day.

Keep going - you can do it! 😊
During the russian occupation, she starved.

Late in March, an explosion destroyed her barn, smashed her windows and door. Although she was starving, she had continued to share food with her dog - who alerted neighours. Neighbours found her lying unconscious.

Sadly, she was too frail, and never recovered from the occupation, never saw her home liberated.

I posted a couple of times about her:

The Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance has produced a fantastic album of her life - bilingual in Ukrainian and English - available here:

A year ago today, the world lost an artistic gem.

Lyubov Panchenko - born in Bucha, Ukraine, 1938 - died in Bucha, 2022.

During her life she travelled Ukraine, exploring the traditional folk art of her country. She produced watercolours, collages, designed embroidery and dresses. In her later years, she received the Vasyl Stus prize.

Some beautiful Ukrainian art. I love this piece - love the brightness of the colours, the geometric style, the flowing lines.

It is a watercolour titled 'Bucha Spring' by Lyubov Panchenko, about whom I shared a little before:

Recently came across some beautiful #UkrainianArt by the artist #LyubovPanchenko. Something about the colour palette and the flowing, sharp lines in these works really hits me, such striking and lovely pieces.

Panchenko was born just before World War 2, but her staunch opposition to the Soviet regime and refusal to change her style to suit the authorities meant she never had an exhibition of her work until independence.

She lived in #Bucha, #Ukraine until her death in April 2022 aged 84.
