Everybody in the family appreciates flowers and nature except Daddy. He never acts like he pays it much mind. If you show him a particular pretty flower, he'll smile and make an offhand comment, "if you've seen one flower, you've seen them all".
I've often wondered how much of that is his male way of looking at things and how much is it because of color blindness.

The next to the last paragraph puzzles me.... or am I not reading it right?
“One of the positives [during the pandemic] was having increased autonomy on your patient record, especially the immunization record,” said Jeff Chorath, who manages the immunization information system in Washington state.

I thought we were all made to feel like it was everybody's right to question our private decision to have the vaccine or not. So how does this guy say a positive during the pandemic was having autonomy on your patient record?

The Dogwoods here are getting more color every day.
On Saturday I noticed that the maple tree started to let some of its leaves gently twirl to the ground. The tree itself is not at full color though.
Somehow the beginning of the color change has snuck up on me this year.
Sept. gave us 7 3/4 inches at my house.

Blessings to the people who are out there fighting the good fight against tyrants like Newsome and the CA State House & Senate.
That was interesting to read her post.

Just tonight on Quite Frankly... Frank has several callers from Seattle who spoke about the crime, the large amount of homeless, huge drug problem, and businesses downtown who have left.
But apparently there is a large, big tech presence there. So I guess there are people who can make big donations and also people who are willing to use their position to help the Democrat cause.

Yes. The plastic smile, the facial expressions and the weird hand gestures. It's like he's been to the Nancy Pelosi odd hand gesture school.

Six days ago we were greeted with headlines that Gavin was NOT running.... what happened to that?
Although, when Gavin vetoed that CA bill about parents not recognizing their children's chosen identity - it made me wonder if that was a move to make him more palatable on a national stage.

Wow! So even after hearing Paxton's defense lawyers rip that case to shreds, proving how false it was - there was still 14 people who wanted to convict him. That is really scary.

Another pledge that is meaningless to them.
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America
and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation
under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

I was in the produce department a couple of weeks ago, another grocery shopper suddenly asked me if I knew what the most expensive vehicle in the US was.
I said I didn't, and asked him what it was.
He said it's a grocery cart.
👍 😁

Sounds like they need the dog whisperer guy. Except Cesar Millan is mostly teaching the human owners how to behave in order to get good results from their dog.
Not sure that these dog owners are teachable.
Poor dog.
