 The Texas Senate voted on Saturday to acquit Attorney General Ken Paxton on the first of the 16 articles of impeachment that had been voted against him by the Texas House of Representatives. The vote was 16 to acquit, 14 to convict and remove from office.

Wow!  So even after hearing Paxton's defense lawyers rip that case to shreds, proving how false it was - there was still 14 people who wanted to convict him.  That is really scary.
