 Prison should be a punishment not a reward for violating the rights of others. 

 Paying inmates wages would be a reward. If they paid them then gave the money to the victims of the crimes they committed I would be fine with that. Or made it so that former inmates had easy access to employment in the field they worked in would be okay too.

 I was just having the same discussion with my sister a couple of days ago. 

 Not to much has changed. Mostly getting rid of stuff and stacking more sats. Flag theory summed is getting multiple citizenships and permeant residencies. If something happens in your plan A country for example war, economic decline, or anything else you can just leave. Some people do it for business purposes to lower their tax bill too.
