this is exactly why i want to write my own wayland compositor + stack

compositor handoff seems cool and definitely useful but this isnt the #1 issue for lunix adoption

 @:nwz: HAGWAFFEN ⚡⚡  :nwz: @Tyler @jaf reaper should support jack/jack2 fine and jack is what you'll settle with anyway for any serious audio work. i use jack2 on my desktop for all my sound and it works fairly well but it's a small learning curve
