@Red Tower@jaf taking this literally, i would say "by developing a personality", thats probably why you "love" him
tell me if im wrong but i noticed the AI halflings are awakening from their dormancy
@Pawlicker 🐾😹 i wouldnt stop using a piece of software because of the developer team; i was using grapheneos back when i still thought micay and his fanbase were stupid. like i said in the thread that prompted him to block me, he's just a wannabe spender
@svantovit irl: MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM SOMEONE SAID SOMETHING FACTUALLY INCORRECT ON THE INTERNET MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM I CANT UNDERSTAND JOKES SPOONFEED ME
get laid
@@jaf my irl friend is prescribed stimulants and i can definitely feel the ADHD radiating from him. stims kinda just amplify your aura and make it kinda obnoxious for all the people around you
@jaf@Tyler@theo h. mann@Nozahagmelons god dammit you reminded me that i need to fuck with cpuset cgroup shit so i can 100% ensure there are no audio xruns on my shit. i dont get them often now but its annoying when something retarded decides to chip into the cpu time despite how realtime prio is SUPPOSED to prevent this in the first place
nigger cattle linux devs
@jaf@Tyler@Nozahagmelons even if pipewire becomes prod-ready, i still dont think i'd personally use it unless i go all-wayland and have to use it for the damn screen recording
@jafhttp://blog.davidedmundson.co.uk/blog/qt6_wayland_robustness/
>Compositors and displays [sic] servers are now the same process, doubling the space for errors
this is exactly why i want to write my own wayland compositor + stack
compositor handoff seems cool and definitely useful but this isnt the #1 issue for lunix adoption
@Nozahagmelons@Tyler@jaf reaper should support jack/jack2 fine and jack is what you'll settle with anyway for any serious audio work. i use jack2 on my desktop for all my sound and it works fairly well but it's a small learning curve
@Nozahagmelons@Tyler@jaf then @theo h. mann would be overselling it to you, unless pipewire fixed all their jank since i last tried. couldnt even use it on my x201 which should definitely have a supported DAC but you might have better luck with it
