 @Nozahagmelons @Tyler @jaf then @theo h. mann would be overselling it to you, unless pipewire fixed all their jank since i last tried. couldnt even use it on my x201 which should definitely have a supported DAC but you might have better luck with it

 @opal hart @Tyler @theo h. mann @Nozahagmelons pipewire is rough but the integration it has is fucking great, no backwards incompat fuckery, i can still use pavucontrol even tho it is pipewire.

I have had no issues with either pulse or pipewire, ive used both
so I kinda have an anomalous experience but honestly I think both are okay not really big on one or the other because all I really care about is being able to plug in my headphones and hear shit
