On Twitter I have 2 accounts. Both are anon but one is a lot more personal. I've been on Bitcoin Twitter for years and people know I'm not just grifter passing by.
It's much more easier for me to shill myself over there and make sales because I don't feel the need to be serious or professional.
Tho it's different when I wear the name LeatherMint online. I put a lot of value on this name and the way it is presented. I overthink like crazy about every word I write.
I tend to be a lot less crazy about that over here since I don't really have 2 accounts. I do but since the old people from years ago don't follow me over there it's not the same.
Oh you mean make them cheaper for nostr 😂 yeah it's something I could do.
But this time I decided to make the sale simple by not offering a coupon code to use and instead plainly put a reduction on them.
Noted for next time.
I'm sorry I still don't understand. I should pay more in fiat? Pay what/who? Do you mean I should accept fiat?
It's not necessarily a bad idea but I said I would only accept bitcoin when I started and I have a lot of ego 😅
I think I'd rather be more patient. It only take accepting fiat one time to lose this status I currently have of someone who never did. There's this possibility in 20 years where I'll be able to say "I never accepted a single dollar" and I love it.
The belts are not supposed to be my main product anyway. I have to go back to selling signing devices cases. This is where I made most of my money so far. There's still a big market I haven't fully conquered over there.
Ok so let's be real.
How cringe is it to post this? To be honest I like it and had fun making it and choosing a color palette.
But I can't convince myself to post it on Twitter. It's like I'm a try hard. It would make sense if I had 100k followers but with 1000 it's just cringe.
I need some honest feedback. This type of selling might not have it's place in a small community.

It's not the allure of the info graphics that make me feel this but the intent behind it.
"Please buy my stuff"
It's tough to sell and promote. It's not the part that I like. But glad that wasn't your feeling seeing this.
I could just say
"Hey guys I have put the belts on sale" and add a picture.
It's the way I say it. The tone. Should it be professional or casual.
Maybe both. Maybe that's the solution. I both post this professional looking graphic and write "hey guys, I've put the belts up for sale."

Buying in physical store is the best way to support The LeatherMint for the long run.

The profit margin is lowered because it is shared with the store, but if you think really long term, bringing profit to tue store ensure it stays alive and continues to buy more LeatherMint products.
The store is good for 3 main reasons.
1) It brings legitimacy to the brand
2) It buys in bulk amd makes for lower profit margin but higher gross profit than a single customer
3) offers a place to showcase the products in rral life for people to see and touch
The success of the Bitcoin Bazaar is also mine.
High profit margin when people buy on my website is good for short term because I need money now to grow.
But buying in Paris store is good for long term because I believe this store will be incredible in 20 years. But to become incredible it needs profits too and I am happy to help them get some profits.
Buying in physical store is the best way to support The LeatherMint for the long run.

These Q cases I sell aren't the most complex construction, but each of them still contains a non-negligeable amount of work due to the tight 3mm spacing I use between each stitch.
I just ran the numbers and each of them contains about 174 stitch all individually done by hand.
Work is Bitcoin

Should be up for grab in the store tomorrow.

"You should cheer on microstrategy because they are a company all in on Bitcoin."
I don't cheer on people trading charts at 100x Leverage just because they are "all in on Bitcoin".
There's curiously A LOT of Japaneses in my feed. At least 25% if not more are Japanese.
I don't think I have interacted very much with them and it seemed to have happen suddenly. But either way, there's no algorithm.. so why?
I'm not mad about it, I recently became fan of some Japanese Bitcoin artisans and gain this envy to sell in Japan but it is curious to see the universe bring Japan to me even on nostr when I discovered them over on Twitter.
If you're looking for some merch at a very reasonable price, this Japanese Bitcoiner, nostr:nprofile1qqs93ymetqpkem0f2ke9hy54swq5pw3dat9c6xfeakg6gxlz230xn9qpvemhxue69uhkv6tvw3jhytnwdaehgu3wwa5kuef0dec82c33wcc8gen2wc6kz6rjxd3nyd3sdf685ertx4mngwrtwfjhyunwddnnsendvdhxxdtvwpnh26esw9jxzvp5v4ch5mfnd5ek20mzwfhkzerrv9ehg0t5wf6k2efml26, is offering beautiful bags.

It's worth taking a look and sharing.
It allows for infinite and reusable lightning invoice. A bit like a lnurl but also works in non custodial wallet like phoenix.
In theory it probably works right now for zaps, just gotta implement it on nostr and this might be complicated. I don't know.
I love Japanese Bitcoiners!
Many good products were sold at Tokyo conference and discovered someone I plan on collaborating with later on to make nice bags you'll receive your items in (à la Hermès).
