no one was questioning whether Saylor supports the right to self-custody, or whether Bitcoin benefits from all kinds of investors and entities.
the fuss was about the risks of holding your bitcoin with large custodians and 'inflammatory' comments made towards certain groups of Bitcoiners and hardware wallet developers.
Throwing unwarranted shade on people making Bitcoin secure is not "spreading Bitcoin with love."
Other than that, I couldn't care less what he says or does, but if it comes at the expense of others, it should be and will be called out.
Do better.

I haven't seen a single take fully defending Saylor's recent comments on Nostr, apart from some light attempts on rationalizing his position.
Meanwhile, on X, there's an army of commentators praising Saylor on how well he's playing 5D chess, whatever that means.
Speaks volumes.
'As I wander through the pines, the whisperings, they tell
Of the many before me who tried and fell
Seeking fortune and ways
To get to glory days
Looking for a place in this old world.'

I think he previously stated that he holds his personal coins in self-custody.
Maybe this is just an act for institutional investors but its bad advice either way.
For me, it's the tone of contempt towards certain groups of Bitcoiners that concerning here.
He was also getting irritated/angry in the same way in the Saifedean interview when discussing yield and custodians.
Spooky to say the least.

People will flock to Nostr to provide value here because they want to earn bitcoin.
We need more of these stories spreading around.

Yes I do.
In my best days I could listen up to 10 podcasts per day, maybe 10+. All without a speed up.
Even when your mind says no, keep pushing. Go get that next episode, champ. You can do it.
