I think he previously stated that he holds his personal coins in self-custody. 

Maybe this is just an act for institutional investors but its bad advice either way.

For me, it's the tone of contempt towards certain groups of Bitcoiners that concerning here. 

He was also getting irritated/angry in the same way in the Saifedean interview when discussing yield and custodians.
