Welcome to nostr. I don’t know of a way to tell if your posts are being seen, but hashtags are the best way to get exposure. From personal experience primal can get tricky once in a while, that’s why I use multiple clients.
My morning thoughts were similar, more legacy platforms trying to scare new and old users away from nostr by exploiting the censorship-free stance of most devs… they can use it as an example of the “perks” of filters that their platforms have, or if devs aggressively filter the spammers, they can claim that nostr isn’t the censorship resistant protocol that we claim… and the new plebs that still don’t understand protocol vs. platform will believe them
Good morning you freedom fighter #nostriches, and a happy #coffeechain to you. Monday morning thought 🤔 what if replyguy was deployed by a legacy media platform taking advantage of censorship-free relays to drive away new users… just an idea… but what if apps that are on-boarding new users had a specific “introductions” relay that could filter out bots and give new users a quick course on how to mute unwanted spambots before either they add the general relay or others? Just thinking. Oh well have a great day. #gm #plebchain
Hello and welcome to nostr. You are on the freedom protocol because you are interacting on the protocol level not a platform… you may be using a platform like damus, primal, or one of the many other apps that access nostr, but if you leave that platform to go to another, you take your data (notes, followers, and follows) with you… plus it has value for value built into the protocol with lightning transfers of satoshis in the for of zaps ⚡️
The one pictured in my garden is common boneset, it is a perinnal native to North America, so it may also grow on other northern hemisphere continents and was used by Native Americans. It is also called Indian Sage and Agueweed. It is part of the aster family. There is also Rough Boneset and Upland Boneset.
We only use the grape seed when we need to deep fry because it has a high smoke temperature, I use lard normally to cook in or whatever grease is left in the pan and my wife uses olive oil for baking normally
