Consider that those plebs may not have supported sovereignty in the first place. There are people (even here) who genuinely believe that Bitcoin is destined for regulatory capture
Now that Saylor is calling people "paranoid crypto anarchists" for taking self-custody (lmao), that may have reminded people to hold their private keys and to prepare for tough times
I think it's important to understand that to misunderstand a person is a choice, and nobody is obligated to redeem themselves from others' false narratives. Better to cut contact than to "win them over"
Their proposals can get rugged at any time, usually when people feel like they have breathing room. I'm not a believer in the whole argument of "I'd rather support someone who won't throw us in jail" because there are more effective ways that the state and banks can capture bitcoin (ETFs, "dark ledgers," nationalizing the Bitmain and Antpool cartels, etc). After my visit to the 757, I'm starting to think that merchants will have to lead the charge in growing bitcoin rather than vying for legitimacy in the eyes of normies. Merchants are more likely to have the balls to challenge the status quo than consumers I think
Been feeling the same way recently, I've honestly gotten pretty bored of bitcoin talk unless it's about building a native economy. I blame the bull run, people are a lot more focused on building Actual Thingsâ„¢ï¸when they aren't going gaga over the fiat price. I'd much rather talk about music, so many people dropped bangers this year
I don't even bother purple-pilling people. At this point, one has to be willing to get their hands dirty in order to get the most out of Nostr. That may change someday, but not now

That's so bad, and they're out in the public bragging about what they're getting away with. Didn't know he was a CO, but there are plenty of poseurs in showbiz
*Made Mistakes* is my album of the year

I'd venture to say that people who say that "BiTcOiN iS cApTuReD" without **ANY** mention of ordispam or the Bitmain cartel have little credibility in this space. Over here, when someone doesn't do their homework or wield their platform properly, everyone will know about it

What frustrates me is that she's partly right then muddles her points with shallow takeaways and conjecture. Do better, nostr:nprofile1qqsy86rlt3pvtvfuryalrehjjaqv4g2recqj9zhyh49svf2gx3vqe2sppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0fjdkvm
