Another awesome Brooklyn Bitcoin Meetup. Great timing after a historic night. All Time Highs and All Time Turnout. #studybitcoin

We need more plebs running full nodes and simple solo miners like #bitaxe. This will improve security and it’s just a matter of time before we get to a place where everyone has a wallet, a node, and a miner!!
Another awesome Brooklyn Bitcoin Meetup. These meetups are therapy for me. It’s an opportunity to talk about the things humans value the most, the broken system we live in and why #bitcoin is the answer.
Conversations that should be had at the dinner table, the break room , the locker room or any room where economizing humans gather. Unfortunately there are only a select few who have the understanding and courage to take full control of their economizing time and energy spent. I celebrate the opportunity to meet and engage with these select few we call Bitcoiners.
@Nathan great turn out tonight . Let’s keep it going!
In order for something to be considered an asset, it’s value should appreciate with Time. If Time itself is an asset, than how do we measure the value of our Time?
#bitcoin measures the value of productive Time spent more than any other human measuring instrument.

I'm sorry Michael Saylor but I don't ever plan to lend #bitcoin to a centralized bank. I think that completely defeats the entire intent of #Satoshi and #Bitcoin.
However I am very hopeful that some #devs will use taproot or another BIP to create smart contracts for self lending with all the parameters of bank lending. Lets keep Bitcoin peer to peer.
Thanks for the explanation Dave. I didn’t quite understand relays and even after your clear explanation I still don’t quite understands relays. The differences, why so many, if I am using one , if am not using one, the difference between private or public and why one or the other. But none the less Nostr is awesome , I’m still learning so I guess at some point it will make sense.
There’s absolutely no way I could ever go back. Thank you #bitcoin for showing me the truth. Undoing the last 40 years, for the next 40 years.

GM my sovereign comrades. I entered this space not knowing anyone and surrounded by those who welcome complacency, an allowing others to decide for them. As much as humans are individuals, we thrive in herds. Due to our sophisticated abilities in communication and manipulation, not all herds are the same. There may come a point when one must engage their ability to individualize himself and search for a more suitable herd. That journey could be long, hard, and unknown. Its feels good to have reached a frequency level that vibrates with 100 others, in the space of freedom of choice and a desire to live in an egalitarian world.
I know this may not be anything worth discussing for many, but it is an accomplishment that I’m zapped about!
Something is going on with my #nostr #npub. All those who I follow were deleted from my account on primal. I checked using other relays and the same. Accounts not synced. Anybody else have this problem?
Bitcoin hash rate and block confirmation rate are simply mechanisms to keep #bitcoin on schedule. Satoshi knew that humans would do what they do best, try to manipulate to dominate each other. Bitcoin is cultivating an honest world.
Daniel I’m starting to realize most people in #bitcoin still don’t quite understand bitcoin but that’s ok because bitcoin is an amazing teacher. Her lessons come at a price, an exposes ill will. Bitcoin is not interested in human persuasion, just human preservation.
What if Satoshi also designed bitcoin to correct human behavior.
What if #satoshi did not intend for #bitcoin #mining to be a source of income. The entire foundation of Bitcoin is built on decentralization and preserving the value of human time and work aka energy spent. What if the best way to secure the network is by every individual who owns bitcoin is also responsible for mining bitcoin. What if the goal is to not only hold your own keys but to also engage with and support the network. What if HODLing is not enough but active engagement by all or majority of plebs Individually is the best option for maintaining the network. The idea of miners joining together to create mining pools, invoking natural human behavior to work together and centralize, may not have been what Satoshi intended. What if Satoshi designed the hash rate to not only keep miners profitable but to keep miners from centralizing or monopolizing the network. After all it is a peer to peer network and not a peer to pool network. Maybe Vitalik understood this best. What if bitcoin is not about price or adoption, but simply time and energy spent. Time to evaluate and calculate human behavior aka QES - Quality of Energy Spent. As more humans learn to live an honest life, the price of bitcoin shall reflect as such. What if Satoshi designed bitcoin for active participation. This is not just a membership you sign up for and come and go as you please. In order to successfully use and fully benefit from bitcoin, one must take the time to understand and appreciate bitcoin. And most importantly, one must learn to value a low time preference because a low time preference allows for better quality of time spent. Something that cannot be achieved through centralization of individual contributions, but by verification of individual contributions. This is why everyone will get bitcoin at the price they deserve. Those who found bitcoin early are those who may not have fully understood but believed that there could possibly be a better, more honest way to live life. Those who are just beginning to live an honest life, will begin to preserve their true worth. If time is the most valuable asset maybe bitcoin is the value of time and depending on how you’ve spent time will determine your individual quality of preservation.
Could measuring #bitcoin in units of bits as suppose to sats be better for bitcoin adoption and creating a bitcoin standard? Stack Sats or Bag Bits.
