The idolization of Michael Saylor by bitcoiners is one of the grossest cases of hero worship I've ever seen in Bitcoin.
His latest statements on self custody & "crypto anarchists" are atrocious.
The overwhelming desire to buy a Dance Dance Revolution arcade cabinet to celebrate crossing $100k #Bitcoin is starting to infect my brain.
I played a lot of DDR in the early 2000s. Hardest difficulty, and played in some arcade tournaments. I bet I could be even better today. 😂
When #Bitcoin is mooning, and you're adding zeroes to your net worth, remember this:
More wealth can give you a better life, but it doesn't make you a better person. You have to work hard every day for that.
Stay humble.✌️
I'm never ready for the bull mania phase of Bitcoin. I have so much fun with the bear & crab markets. It's a comfy place.
Mania bull markets cause the most anxiety. Calls from people you haven't talked to on a while, concerns about your cold storage setup even when you know it's secure, and an overall feeling of great responsibility.
Bitcoin is a burden I carry for future generations. I know this is all inevitable, but seeing the world wake up to this inevitably can feel daunting.
I'm happy to see more plebs stacking! And NgU is going to happen. It's been happening. I just find the trip up to be more stressful than sideways or down. It's weird. 😂
People really seem to like my baklava. The funny thing is I don't think I've ever tried authentic Turkish baklava. I just took my mom's recipe and made something I liked better.
Fun fact: the old Blockchain(dot)info office in NYC had a bunch of small rooms named after Game of Thrones locations. I once asked if the bathrooms also had names, and was told no.
So I dubbed the men's room "The Todd" after Peter Todd. 😂
Instead of watching a bullshit documentary, I spent 10 minutes making rose scented tallow lip balm, and peppermint whipped tallow hand cream, both for the first time.
Definitely a better use of my time.
If you look online you'll find a bunch of recipes. For the lip balm I mixed 4 parts tallow, 1 part beeswax. Melt them together in a double boiler, remove from heat, add a few drops of essential oil, and pour into an empty tube dispenser.
Super simple! You just have to play around with the recipe to get a consistency that you like.
Hey, I knew something! I used to listen to this podcast in the early 2000s (very early in the podcast days), and one of the cohosts was a forager. The other host made fun of him when he talked about "chicken of the woods." I remember looking it up and I guess the knowledge stuck. 😂
"Rest" days
Wake up
Eat breakfast
Go for a long walk outside
Eat lunch
Go for a long walk outside
Eat dinner
Go for a long walk outside
Couple hours of chill time
Go to bed
"Yeah, lucky I didn't listen to you"

We're gonna make it if we stay focused on what matters:
Family
Health (physical/mental/spiritual)
Low time preference living
Have a good weekend, friends.
This was so much fun! Thanks for having me on, Walker!

I believe Ross' chance at freedom is greater than 0% if Trump wins.
If Trump loses, Ross' chance remains 0% with Kamala.
Good enough for me to vote. It's a rigged, bs system, but it's the absolute least I can do.
PS: you're calling his mother an idiot. She knows it's not a guarantee, but she believes Trump will free her son.
I love the carnivore diet when I'm eating at a maintenance or bulking level, but what about in a 800-900 calorie deficit?
I haven't found it sustainable after three months of cutting.
I already introduced 50-60g carbs pre-workout, but I've had to add another 50-60g carbs post-workout. After accounting for my protein goals, there aren't enough calories remaining for fat to fuel me.
Anyone else have experience with this?
I haven't lost any intensity. The weight on my exercises has been going up each session in tiny increments. I averaged a little over 21k steps for September. I feel like I'm pushing myself as hard as possible right now.
I have a very good trainer monitoring my diet and exercise. I'm not worried. 😆
You probably don't know this, but I've been on a keto diet since 2011. The past 5+ years have been strict carnivore (no cheat days). So using fat as fuel has been my way of life. I don't need to read any more books or listen to podcasts - I get it. 😂
Preloading carbs has been an improvement pre-workout while cutting. I didn't feel the need for carbs when I was maintaining.
It's different now and I'm listening to my body. I'm not telling others what they should do, so no need to take issue with my comment. I'm sharing my experience.
Intermittent fasting was a big part of my diet for years when I was maintaining on carnivore. I actually need to eat more often in smaller amounts right now.
The problem is if I want to use fat as my primary fuel I will have to overeat. Otherwise I'm too tired on this deficit. So I've turned to carbs after 5+ years on carnivore diet.
My body likes it. I'm more energetic using carbs as primary fuel, and I'm still in a 800-900 calorie deficit. I'm listening to my body (and my trainer).
My energy levels were at an all time low. I could barely push through a workout. So I adjusted. More carbs, less fat. My body likes it.
I'd rather use fat as my primary source of fuel, but I'm going with this method for a few more months while cutting. I have to listen to my body here.
