Good morning, y'all, and happy #TGIF Friday. π I'm not sure that applies to me, though. It seems like I have been "celebrating" #today all week with a string of #Slackerday and sofa surfing #SofaSunday's. I should sure be well rested and in great shape to face #myday and #joinin on whatever misadventures this Friday brings.
If not, there is always tomorrow and Sunday's crashing on the comfy couch to look forward to. ππ
It's looking to be another lovely sunny day #today. Just 35deg F ( 2C) right now with the sun breaking brightly over the horizon and temperatures promising to head up near 70deg #today. So, as I sit here n sip away on my coffee, I'm hoping to be able to get outside and enjoy it. π
Only time, more coffee, and Heather hollering know for sure.
Hope y'all get a chance to step out and enjoy some good weather and fresh air, too. π π€ π
What an absolutely wonderful start to #myday #today. It's a lovely, sunny morning. Not a cloud in the sky, with a light cool breeze. Perfect weather for getting out there for some leisurely sitting n sipping and sun soaking. And yes, sans the shirt. π
But alas, all good things come to an end. Be it Heather hollering about some honey-doin needing done, or the belly aching for its breakfast, or just the coffee cup needing a refill, it's te end of leisure time n back to the reality of life. But hey, gotta whole half hour of quiet, uninterrupted peace in the morning sunshine π π€.
I guess next up is breakfast for this "poor starving" big belly. π At least a refill of the coffee cup n sit, sip n think about it.π

A day of purposely procrastinating, funtime fiddling, personal puttering, and #joinin watching some college football π! π Maybe even breaking out a beer or two to celebrate whoever wins. π» and perhaps a big bowl of popcorn to throw at the TV when they screw up. πΏ
It's also the day of little heeding of Heather hollering about any Honey-doins. Just the few godda-do's #today, dear Hollering Heather!!π
Well, the cold front has moved through. Got some sputtering splashes of rain out of it yesterday, and it never did make it to 80deg. Just 74 degrees, overcast all day and a good day to veg out n Hide from Heather. Not that I got away with trying to do that.π
Survived the night with just the sheet for cover. It didn't get as cold as expected. Just 53 degrees and expecting a high #today of just 68.
Good thing, too, since the stand-by blanket ended up on the bedroom floor. π₯΄

That was enough for the wife, though. The first thing she did this morning was run around closing all the windows, but inside is still a balmy 68! π

I've been doing pretty good myself, now that I've tossed those nasty BP pills away. Where I was struggling to find the energy n stamina to plod along n get my 3 mile walk in each day, I'm up n moving and energetic enough to plow through 15000 to 16000 steps a day. 8000 each morning and then the rest after lunch n napping time. Even that isn't forced on me like it used to. π

Closing the window will allow slumbering with just the top sheet. Leaving it open n snuggled under a blanket gives me the refreshing cold bleeze, but maybe a little bit of frosty nostrils syndrome. π€
Well y'all, HHHH approaches, and there's still coffee to sit n sip and maybe a little bit of sun soaking, weather gods permitting, before Heather starts her hollering. π

RATS! Drove all the way to the doctors office, a 30-mile round trip down n back, just to discover their shipment of COVID vaccine hadn't arrived yet and so I could only get the FLU shot. So now gonna have to trek all the way down there again next week. Not a good start to #myday #today.π
But at least I got out of the house. Even better, "forgot" my phone. So at least I didn't have to listen to Heather nagging me about Honey-doins needing done.π

It's a nice n cool 63deg this morning, as I wait for the sun to warm things up a bit. And It's looking like another day in the mid-80s again. Though they are saying a cold front from the north is heading down with cooler 70deg highs and colder 40deg nights.
Well, y'all, not much else on my plate #today, other than the usual Thursday Heather Hollering n Harvey Heeding n Hustling to get the regular Thursday Honey-doins done. π

My fault. Haven't found time to post one. My sitting n sun soaking kinda took over my morning tooting. Though I have been adding my two cents between Honey-doins. Guess I'm gonna have to readjust my HHHH n find room for tooting. π
YEA! Tuesday's tub & tile tasks are done. All the regular daily-do's done, too. So Heather is hollering for a little napping time before the afternoon HHHH stuff starts up. π€

BP meds are the worst. Like you, mine was leaving staggering about like a drunken sailor but without the fun n frolic of getting drunk like that sailor. π₯΄ And eventually requiring me to lay down (or fall down) for a nap in the afternoons.
So stopped taking em. BP is a little high, though not much (130-140/ 80), but I am awake n "sober" again. π€
Good luck in finding one that works for you. I have yet to find such an elusive thing myself. π

Slept in a little, took my slow and refreshing time in the shower. Sadly though, no sun soaking with my morning sit n sipping. Too many clouds blocking the morning sunshine #today.
But the sofa awaits #myday of sofa surfing with a soft pillow to prop up my head and the TV remote within comfortable reach. So yeah, all set for a full day of couch potato-ing and football watching to begin.

It's #Slackerday Saturday, and I'm up n busy slacking already #today.
Got up n out for some morning sun soaking and coffee sipping. βοΈ It's just for about a half hour so not to burn. Besides, by then, the sun is getting a little bit too intense, and I'm ready for the shade of the indoors and the comfy of the comfy couch.
Heather has been accommodating and has scheduled me 30 minutes of sitting n soaking before starting Hollering her Honey-doins for #myday.

Woke up to a lovely sunshine n cool 65deg morning #today. Got my coffee successfully poured without spilling it and have made it all the way to my "sit n sip" seat by the picture window to sit n sip in the morning sun. βοΈ π΄
I'm looking at another hot summer like day in the mid-80s. It got really hot yesterday. It topped out at 88 degrees! π₯΅
Was getting really uncomfortable there, and I even thought of closing up the place and turning the air conditioning back on. I didn't, though. By the time the heat seeped in to heat up the interior, the exterior temps were slowly sliding down, so I just tossed off the t-shirt and toughed it out. π
Not much else happening around here #today. Just the usual ho-hum Wednesday Honey-doins to fiil #myday. Hopefully, some sitting n sipping πΉoutside to soak up some of this lovely sunshine.π #Joinin if your time and weather permit. π€ π
