Ugh update to my #SpanishFlu post and the High Holidays in 1918 in the Boston Area. My elderly mother caught Covid for the first time this week. Probably on #YomKippur at Shul. I expect my father to catch it too. He drove her to the ER. A refuah shlema for Minah bas Pesach.

If you ever get the opportunity, check out the American Heritage Museum in Massachusetts for events. We got to see a WWII "Tank Battle" and the Allied and Axis camps recreated there last year and it was really awesome.
The museum itself is also very cool. So glad the pilot was ok!

♥ I gave 2 beds to an immigrant from the city some of my greatgrandparents immigrated to 100 years ago, and my grandfather grew up. They were so incredibly thankful saying I "saved them." I felt embarassed, but giving them away instead of selling them was a very good thing. Heart full.

My family is from Eastern Ukraine and I am only here because they escaped after seeing their village neighbors, family being murdered by Ukrainians in the early 1900s. At least 2 suffered ptsd their entire life in the US. I for one am thankful the relationship is so much better now. This kneejerk hatred for Jews is v. ugly. We do not offer our necks to anyone. We protect our own. Sorry u don't like it.
