Love the show, but the volume can be a bit quiet compared to all my other podcasts. Keep it up.

Time for some #Bitcoin #TechnicalAnalysis
It's looking like we not hit my $58k target, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. On the 1h/4h timeframe we have are in the process of switching to bullish market structure. On the daily timeframe we are still in bullish market structure as well, so a pullback on 1h/4h could be a good entry. #NotFinancialAdvice #trading

Following up on my previous #TechnicalAnalysis posts
We've reached the golden pocket and are putting in bearish divergences on momentum and money flow which leads me to believe we will pull back soon. The next price I am eyeing is $58k.

Short weekend #TechnicalAnalysis
Price has pumped as predicted. We haven’t reached the golden pocket yet and we don’t have any serious divergences yet so I still think we will get to 64k before possibly pulling back more.

I’d love to hear some Bitcoin stats each episode. Also, yes, I’m stacking for retirement. Each paycheck I set aside some money for my brokerage, my IRA, and Bitcoin. I’m pretty sure I’ll regret not putting everything in Bitcoin in the future, but I currently sleep soundly at night.

Time for some more #TechnicalAnalysis
As predicted in my previous post, we've had a bit of a pullback. On the higher timeframes we put in a lower low which means we may be looking at some more downside for a bit. We recently hit a local golden pocket, so my prediction is that we pump to the golden pocket of the pullback, and then dump to the golden pocket of the larger move before pushing to a new daily higher high.

Levels I'm watching:

Nice, I still need to check your project out. I’m still pretty new to music production in general so I’m constantly learning, but Vital has been a great tool for synthesizing sounds and has a solid free version.
Time for some #TechnicalAnalysis.
On the weekly chart, things are looking good. We are continuing to form this bull flag which has a high likelihood of eventually breaking to the upside. The momentum waves have gotten closer to oversold, while the money flow is thick in the green, meaning we could have found our bottom.
https://m.primal.net/LFtv.png
As for the daily chart, we have successfully formed a higher low and a higher high, which makes for bullish market structure. The next high to take out is at $69.8k, but I wouldn't be surprised if we pullback a bit for a breather before going that high. A good entry on a pullback currently would be at $58k.
https://m.primal.net/LFuC.png
Finally, the 4 hour timeframe is looking a bit overheated. the RSI's have been overbought for a while not, and we have some bearish divergences on the momentum on the money flow. We could push a bit higher from here, but this is looking like we need to have a pullback soon, which aligns with my previous observation. Here are several levels to look for good scalp trades.

I ended up getting mild fluorosis early on in life and my childhood dentist had no idea. Once I lived on my own I did my own research and stopped using fluoride, and my next dentist was in full agreement with me. Find yourself a dentist that doesn’t peddle flourish products unnecessarily.
I don't think I ever made an #introductions post, but since I'm doing a rebrand, now seems like as good of time as ever.
I've been a professional software engineer for 10 years, and I have been doing it as a hobby for 16 years total. I got into #Bitcoin in 2013 and have my share of stories where I should be retired 100x over by now, but we live and learn. Hopefully I can share some of those stories at some point.
These days, I'm starting to experience engineering burnout. While I'm grateful for having this as my career, spending day and night coding for this long takes its toll. A while back a coworker convinced me start learning how to produce #music, and it has been a game changer for me.
Today I'm happy to share one of my tracks I'm working on to the public for the first time. I've shared my music with friends, but never to a wide audience. This is a dubstep/tearout/trench type of track so it's a pretty heavy headbanger, and I would love feedback on it from those who appreciate this kind of music.
I'm excited to continue my musical journey, and to spread awareness of Bitcoin at the same time.

This Week in Bitcoin has become one of the main podcasts I never miss. Chris is also a podcasting OG, so if you like Linux then I’d recommend checking out some of the other Jupiter Broadcasting shows.

Anyone know of Bitcoin companies that are hiring? I’ve been a full stack web dev for 10 years now and am looking for a new opportunity and would love to break into the Bitcoin space. My passion is mostly around the frontend, but I do enjoy being able to build out full solutions by working on backend API’s and infrastructure changes as well. I’ve also been following Bitcoin since about 2013. Repost for awareness if you would be so kind. 🙏

Looks like I might have gotten the @fountain_app issues I’ve been having straightened out. If anyone else has issues with freezing, crashing, or not being able to switch currently playing podcasts then I suggest you uninstall the app and reinstall it.
This podcast is pretty high level, but worth listening to. I’m not sure if it’s 100% legit or not, but if it is, I think it could be great for Bitcoin. If we can use this technology to secure other PoS chains, then Bitcoin becomes the ultimate settlement layer, and other chains become pure execution environments.

Feeling relieved that I've been moving more of my #Bitcoin to cold storage and consolidating UTXO's. Also, anyone know what's going on? I'm assuming a lot of #ordinals or #runes activity, but it doesn't seem that crazy when looking at https://ordiscan.com/blockshttps://m.primal.net/KIGr.png
Anyone else having issues with the latest @fountain_app release? I didn’t have any crashes yesterday, but this morning I can’t get through a few minutes of a podcast without the app crashing while the app is in the background or my phone is locked. Very weird as I used the app for hours yesterday without this issue.
@fountain_app if you need an iOS beta tester you know where to find me 👀
I don’t participate in much of the layer 2 space, but I think it’s very interesting to keep track of, and I appreciate the coverage that Bitcoin Season 2 gives.
Fractal sounds interesting and I’ll be keeping my eye on the project. Right now it seems merge mining, federations, and some form of staking seem to be what different layer 2 solutions are converging around, with Fractal going the merge mining route.

Another great episode of the High Hash Rate podcast. Bitaxe reminds me of the USB miner days, might have to get one.

Going to try something new. Over the new few hours I'll be posting music in this thread, kind of like a nostr-native DJ set. This time will be chill/psychedelic music, and if this goes well then I may share some other genres in the future.

Is there a way to use my Primal wallet to zap notes on the web? The Primal wallet on mobile is very convenient and I would love to just use that, but I cannot find any interface for it on the web app. cc @miljan

Woah! That's a packed schedule, very jealous I won't make it. Definitely goals for next year. Also, very cool that this is being done in on a GitHub board. 🔥
The day we broke into new #Bitcoin all time high territory, I thought “wouldn’t it be hilarious if we stall out here for a while, drop lower than anyone is expecting, and form a beautiful cup and handle.” Well, it seems my prediction was right. This is shaping up to be a text book pattern, combined with a huge bull flag off of the golden pocket. $120k coming to a chart near you soon. #trading #technicalanalysis

#Coinbase (not Coinbase Advanced) fees are insane, and I can’t believe they still get away with it. A $50 #Bitcoin purchase has a $1.99 fee, but flipping the “advanced” toggle and making a market order of $50 results in $0.37 of fees. That’s nearly a 4% fee versus a 0.74% fee for knowing to flip a toggle and know what a “market” order even is.
Software development is an incredible skill to have, even if you don't plan on using it professionally. You never know when you'll need to write a script to do something like converting the format of a csv file, which could take hours manually.
You should really be using nvm to manage your Node installs instead of a package manager. It also lets you install multiple versions of Node and you can easily switch between them.

Is anyone building a layer 2 or sidechain on top of @Blockstream Liquid? OP_CAT is already enabled, and there’s probably a number of reasons why a layer would be more scalable on Liquid than the base layer.
What’s the best way to move all my funds off of @OpenSecret ? I see I can close my channel and move my funds on chain which could be viable because fees are pretty low right now, but are those funds accessible in Mutiny itself, or would I need to restore that seed to a more traditional wallet?
I also thought about trying to just spend all of my available outbound liquidity and just forget about the 1% Mutiny has in reserve.
Curious as to what other folks are doing. #Bitcoin #mutiny #lightning
Lightning on Liquid sounds really interesting in terms of keeping the Lightning network cheap for the long term, but it still feels like a lot of trust to put into Blockstream. It would be nice if Liquid could become more decentralized over time. #Bitcoin #LiquidNetwork #LightningNetwork

I don't have to, but I much prefer to listen to music. I have a playlist that is continuously updated that has a similar BPM and intensity to the songs. I can be at a point where I'm pretty fatigued, but when the right track comes on with the right attitude, it can absolutely give me a second or third wind. Also, my wife recently forgot her headphones at home so we shared my AirPods and she immediately wanted a link to my playlist after our workout because it worked so well. There's power in music, but I can also appreciate a more meditative approach to working out.
Finally used Sparrow Wallet for the first time to consolidate UTXO's while fees are low and it was a solid experience. The aesthetics remind me of #Bitcoin wallets circa 2014 which was a bit of a throwback. Highly recommended.
Basically making a single transaction with all your BTC to a new wallet address that you own (could be using the same xpub, doesn’t have to be from a new seed phrase).
The layer 2 situation is so much more mature. Lots of different types of layer 2 related experiments, and we are finally seeing some of this tech come to Bitcoin.
I’m traveling back to the states from San Luis Potosí and I am bummed that I didn’t see any local merchants accepting Bitcoin. Last time I was in Mexico was 10 years ago and I had hoped to see Bitcoin accepted then, but did not. I hope that one of these days I don’t have to worry about pesos and dollars, I just want to bring my #Bitcoin.
Currently reading Hijacking Bitcoin by Roger Ver after reading The Blocksize War by Jonathan Bier. In some ways, these books are in direct contrast to each other. You could say the former comes from a large blocker perspective, while the latter is from a small blocker perspective. However, I don’t think that’s fair to the material. The Bitcoin community is made up of many different personalities and view points, and regardless of your stance on small blocks vs big blocks, I think it’s worth reading through both of these books to understand the historical context of Bitcoin, as well as some of the challenges we may face in the future. I think there’s a chance we face another Blocksize War, and we may be on the cusp of the Layer 2 wars (e.g. OP_CAT) and if that’s the case then we may face similar cultural challenges. Let us learn from the past.
