Yes that might be true for some but I’d argue that for the vast majority it’s still better than posting into the void for the first weeks on nostr.
By greeting and welcoming new Nostr users via #introductions or #grownostr, we build our own welcome algo.
TikTok “rewards†new users with an incredible algorithmic push for their first post to show them the power of the app.
This happens organically here as well. I think it’s increasingly important to welcome new users to help them feel and experience Nostr like we all already do.

After waking up in the @Kretchino crib I was greeted with nice French breakfast and now dropped off at the airport.
Surviving the first 24hours worked because of this AWESOME community who helped me with commuting, sleeping, p2p trades and sending me locations accepting #btc.
