I bought land with Bitcoin in 2018 and it has lost 70% of its value in BTC denominated terms since.
Not a single regret in the world because that specific piece of land will NEVER be available again, and I have made a ton of countless memories + grown as a human because of the learning experiences building it up.
I knew the odds of it losing BTC value going in, and was more than happy to accept it.
If you don't feel this way immediately, then either don't buy it or get a mortgage for it instead.
It kinda baffles me how many comments I get from people saying Bitcoin isn't suitable for a currency because of its vulnerability to a global EMP attack.

Every creator since the "creator economy" began has had to have diversified income streams.
It's a good thing for us to have this - it means we never get to take one segment of our audience for granted, or coast on the rules of a centralized ad placement co like Google or Twitter.
I love the value for value model and Bitcoiners contribute WAY more on a per capita basis than any other niche that exists.
But eventually if you want to scale you will need to either mint a TON more bitcoiners/NOSTR users or convince people to contribute a lot more monthly/on-goung.

Get a wallet that calculates fiat price at time of calculation and gives capital gain/loss. coinos.io does it for every transaction and supports Lightning + Liquid.
Wallets like CoinOS calculate price basis in fiat at time of incoming transfer + expenditure. You can then export this as a CSV to a calculator/tax app like Koinly, which can figure out the total amount of capital gain/loss (if any occurred) on the entirety of a given period's history. It is an extra step or two but it's do-able - and definitely easier if you are a contractor/proprietorship vs employee.

Yeah I enjoy following his campaign and energy. He's a very smart person and that's refreshing to see vs typical pencil pushers in these races. Part of the reason I am still following the race even though he is a long shot
