I remember the darkened bedroom when I had measles as a child.
I remember visiting my brother who had to go to hospital when he caught it as he complications & had problems for the rest of his life & was the first of my siblings to pass away.
I remember walking past hospital polio wards, seeing the children in iron lungs. Very confronting.
I’m thankful to my parents for getting us all vaccinated when they finally were available.
I hate anti-vaxxers.

Sometimes just as I’m falling asleep I get jolted awake by someone knocking on the door & I have a doorbell, but weirdly I believe they’re using a stick to knock with & yep - no one is there. Happens if I’m stressed or stressing about something.

Since the inception of self checkouts, which I do use on occasion if I’m in a hurry, there has been an increase in shoplifting/theft. Even with serviced checkouts shoplifting has always happened but not to the same degree as happens now. Whether I like self checkouts or not is beside the point, the point being shoplifting has increased so maybe going back to serviced checkouts will curb the problem.
I don’t know if your being deliberately disingenuous as to why you don’t *get it* no one else seems to have a problem with my post!
