Grow your own damned food.
You don’t need fresh produce to survive.
Grow enough to preserve until the next harvest.
You don’t need to gorge on plant matter. Eat animal based and pace yourself.
It’s actually that simple. But surprisingly hard to accomplish.
Never stop learning 🫡
Less governance. Larger ‘small’ community involvement.
The larger the small groups, the smaller the interference, the larger the beneficial impact to local people.
It is really that simple.
We can build our own damned roads!
@TheGuySwann has touched on this many times.
I am a bitcoiner.
But I do not define it as my identity.
It took me a year and a half after discovering bitcoin in 2019 to become fully orange pilled.
When I had that ‘ah ha’ moment, nothing about my personality changed. But the way I interacted with the world changed in many ways.
Once I grasped why Ive felt disconnected from social norms by connecting the fiat dots. I felt a calm knowing I had #Bitcoin as an off ramp into being self reliant by controlling my own wealth. It’s also more comforting more easily recognizing manipulation in our system.
To me, being a bitcoiner has a few main traits:
1. Having a true understanding how our system works. (The Bitcoin Standard helped me with this)
2. Not being scared by self custody.
3. Working towards owning your time by breaking the matrix chains at a pace thats sustainable for the individual.
4. Staying Humble and stacking sats.
Sadly I only silently weep for those who are not awake.
You cannot save. You can only, IMO, keep building and being the change. The ones that ask questions may be saved.
Further that, not much you can do unfortunately.
Every one you describe suffers from cognitive dissonance. If they don’t understand it, they are happy in ignorance. Because, if they were wrong, they didn’t know so. Therefore cannot blame themselves.
IMO, it’s the same mind set that allows people to commit atrocious war crimes. Distancing themselves from the truth in order to justify following the crowd.
On some level it’s hard not to sympathize, on the other hand, grow some fucking balls and take ownership of your own mind.
And then I struggle with the thought, well they are probably over worked and eating shitty food so most barely have the energy to expend just getting home… let alone learn something new.
The boob tube is then the default. Sad!
Damn dude.
I worked in the tree removal industry for decades.
Call your insurance company immediately and have it well documented before any removal gets done.
Depending on your insurance provider they could try funny tricks to not pay out.
Good luck my fren.
~
On the flip side. Many people I did removals from kept the firewood to sell and offset the deductible.
Also. The trunk looks compromised. Push for a full removal, not just damaged/fallen portion.
I actually cant stress this enough. That limb that fell provided wind protection from the rest of the tree. Now that it’s gone, the remaining tree may not do well being exposed.
Or at the least have the insurance company hire an abortist to give a full report on the trees health so that you cover your ass in the future.
