I am trying to occult a file on my MacBook using the command “chflags hidden†in the terminal, but it didn’t work.
I tried other ways as well,and none of them did what I wanted to do. My idea was to hide some files I have in case someone had access to my computer. Does anyone here know how can I do that?

I have big problems with food poisoning and allergies to specific types of ingredients. I also have chronic migraines. I have to change my whole diet. I’m going to a dietician this week so she can help me out. I also found out a have 2 “innocents†heart murmurs. But I’m fine. It’s just that the migraines+the food allergies are quite hard to deal with. It makes you sick for days. It’s horrible. But I’m fixing that! Thanks for your kind wishes. Health is the most important treasure of this world.
My MacBook is still weird. I had to sign Word to be able to work on my texts, since Pages is not an option anymore.
I noticed that sometimes even though I save a file it just doesn’t work,and the file remains the same as before with no changes added. So basically, I don’t know if it’s a matter of compatibility or if it’s something else I’m not aware of yet. Has anyone here been through the same?
