My MacBook is still weird. I had to sign Word to be able to work on my texts, since Pages is not an option anymore. 
I noticed that sometimes even though I save a file it just doesn’t work,and the file remains the same as before with no changes added. So basically, I don’t know if it’s a matter of compatibility or if it’s something else I’m not aware of yet. Has anyone here been through the same?

 Word, you mean microsoft word? Pages ia some apple word processor?

sorry for bit stupid questions but I dont know apples products much.

I am using Libreoffice on my linux and they have macos versiin too. You should try, there is a option to save as documents in MS format ... 

 Word as in Microsoft word,and Pages is like Apple’s word lol
