I’d argue that herd sizes are one step removed.
When the bank manager pushed a farm consultant at the farmer they’re obliged to listen and that advice often includes, “more cows, buy in feed, more lending from the bank”.
Banks need to take the blame here, not grinding up the farmers who are stuck in the middle.

Facebook will be the death of us all.
Maybe even talkback radio or white man podcasts and Telegram too.
People get in on that stuff, believe they’re hard done by, drive their Ute poorly, and then vote for National. Frankly it’s embarrassing but it makes logical sense based on what those media outlets push at you continually.

I went and had a look under the hood.
It’s the Repco Century NS60LX MF. And good news it’s 20% off currently!
This is the exact same size and puts the terminals on the same side. The Leaf has some small sized terminals and this matches them.
The AH capacity is slightly higher than the stock battery or you can go for the next size down and I think it’s still comparable to the stock battery.

Stuff still have issues with encoding macrons in their captions as demonstrated by this new and exciting variation.
A lowercase a with macro. (ā) has been turned into an uppercase a with umlaut (Ä), a known failure mode for UTF to 8-bit. It gets better with a caricature of what appears to be a movable type for the capital letter S.

Huh that is unusual.
When a local bowling green was built over the soil was removed to a depth of several meters and replaced with clean fill!
Down at the Chateu the old bowling green there has slowly been replaced with quite a diverse mix of local grasses and mosses.

How about instead of a mute button a fart sound button. Then as the audience gets restless they keep pressing the button more and more until the wind blows the speaker away.

Kind of a sad tale from a tradie: people he used to work with before at a factory keep working in factories and warehouses because they didn’t think they’re worth doing better or getting a better job. Straight from school into a warehouse. I guess nobody inspired them to aspire to better?
I have now exceeded 1,000 observations on #iNaturalist which I was introduced to by @3660532c
Fittingly the one that pushed me over was a Kiokio (#Blechnum|#Lomaria discolor) crown fern which is the “dominant understory” in the bush I’m most often in.

@f4f101c0
I just got out of the bush after volunteering for a project that’s largely funded by DoC. National Party proposing to cut their funding is going to endanger our bush even more than it already is. This is rubbish. National Party can go jump in a lake (full of didymo).

Would @3660532c and others be interested in a “Sedge every hour” bot that just posts a photo of a different sedge every hour.
I’m not offering to write and maintain it. Just suggesting it. #Carex
@120acc36
That is good to know. I’m not sure why my dealer hasn’t contacted me about it.
I just checked under the hood and there stamped on the plate it says “ZE1” so I’ve got some calls to make.
Thanks for the heads up.

There can’t be age exemptions for income tax because suddenly the kids of rich parents will earn a lot of money and the parents are magically unpaid volunteers.
This is basic tax avoidance.
