Hey NZ Ag researchers - how about we cut the herds (beef and dairy) in half and *then* work on your 'moonshot' technology solutions to reducing methane and other GHGs. At the moment, you're just spending lots of money and nothing is getting better, and is unlikely to do so. 

 @d72d5211   Reducing herd sizes is not in the hands of the Ag researchers. It's a decision made by individual herd owners or political via regulation.
