Used to be able to search through posts in the feed by swiping down and bringing up a search bar. Seems that’s gone, but when I go to universe to search it only lets me search hashtags and users…
Even just making that bubble a bit wider and making it say like “search: turtle” instead of just turtle, for some reason I thought it was just telling me the hashtag search term for the preceding hashtags being displayed
Bitcoin is a risk tolerance measuring device.
“You get the bitcoin at the price you deserve” is a phrase/meme that identifies individuals risk tolerance.
Success is a function of risk tolerance.
CoinOS is the new Wallet of Satoshi, but better! And alby is cool for the tech savvy or business owner, but not for the pleb who just wants to zap and be zapped on nostr
It’s not so simple. Height and terrain is really important for that distance due to the curvature of the earth. Ideally both antennas are elevated above the terrain by at least a couple hundred feet, wherein you run into structural legal issues.
Focusing on curating some imagery first I’ll probably have a gallery ready a couple weeks, unfortunately got a lot of stuff on my plate at the moment from fiat mines and household chores.
Yah thanks I’ll share the gallery and try and get some opinions on what should be printed.
Also curious if I should do editions of X or 1 of 1s .
My preference is 1 of 1s but that makes each piece more expensive overall and I think prices a lot of people out, but also makes each piece that much more special and I could do some more affordable images by making them smaller (like 8x8s instead of 40x40s)
Yah, that could mean removing excessive regulatory burdens, but simultaneously allowing Elon to save the gov money by removing incentives.
Regulatory burdens cost the oil and gas industry way more money then they get from incentives, so it would be a win win.
While a home does depreciate, and its primary value is its utility, owning it provides a substantial benefit of being able to sell it to recoup some of its expense. The alternative to owning is renting, where you have no ability to sell to recoup any value.
Unlike most things in life that depreciate, housing is a basic need, so forgoing the expense is seldom an option.
So in the end it’s still a worthwhile choice, especially when considering the sovereignty one gains over their place of residency.
Though, the shaming of renters is unnecessary as the economic choice to rent or buy can vary based on individual circumstance, and bitcoin has certainly tipped the scales on that decision.
Primal users in a walled garden, they don’t got access to all of nostr, just the primal approved cached version primal serves up.
Move to a real nostr client, instead of a lightning wallet with social networking!
Damus, Nostur, on iOS. Nostrudel and Corny Chat on web browser.
I hear Amethyst is used on Android, or use the nostrudel as a web app, I hear it works pretty well like that.
Doubt it’s the Next FTX as they’ve been around too long now, more likely it’s some tradfi company that gets over its skis with leverage or paper bitcoin or something.
What if bitcoin takes down… invesco or something similar…
Isn’t that a 1.05 quadrillion dollar market cap?
Wouldn’t that assume that like 75% of everything is capitalized in bitcoin, derivatives somehow acknowledged by the market price etc…
Or I suppose things will inflate to the point where maybe it’s only 50 or 25% of everything which would make a bit of sense…
The inflation is what I think most people don’t “get”. Even bitcoiners who think they can sell their corn and “retire” seem to not acknowledge the devastation of inflation.
The breakout continues.
As indicated by the September and October closes, six months of consolidation at all time highs has lead to a very strong market reaction and a thrust upwards upon the election news catalyst.
The monthly candle flagpole would seem to indicate this move still has further upside to explore. Though, @bevo's post halving target range has been entered, which could indicate a possible resistance area.
November’s close will likely indicate whether price action is exhausted and require further consolidation, or if momentum will continue through December and unleash the famed “Santa clause rally” before consolidating is required in the new year. https://image.nostr.build/9d10e8b41171f11e9be8594f3efb546b387d262cac680e49cf7bb5f2dfbdecb4.jpg
