@48293a8f I give her all sorts of credit for staying power. Her voice still sounds amazing. She's out there touring. I gave the album a listen. I might try to listen a bit more. But my 1st reaction is it's really hard for these artists to stay at the initial level of creative intensity. I liked some of the tracks on "Break Up The Concrete" & also on "Alone". Again, major kudos to her for staying power. (We saw them with Stevie Nicks and they were fantastic.)

@e1685c12@6211bb94 This sounds like Spanish bureaucracy more than anything else. It should be mentioned that there's a profound sociological difference between our cultures. Spain is very much a High Context culture where here in the States we're in the opposite spectrum as Low Context. When we expect our bureaucracies to be attentive to our needs and transfer that attitude to Spanish bureaucracy, it can be jarring for both sides. Culture clash! Mike is a very experienced traveler though.
