 I feel overwhelmed but hungry to learn at the same time. It’s not easy sitting down to understand something completely new, but I know how important it is - it’s just something I feel. I’m not trying to frustrate anyone who’s ahead of me, especially developers and others in this space who seem to have it all figured out. I know I come off ignorant sometimes. I’m genuinely trying to learn, even if it takes me longer than I’d like to absorb these concepts.

What’s tough is seeing people talk down to those of us who are still figuring it out. But for the ones who’ve taken the time to help me or even just been patient - thank you. It means a lot. 

I’ve picked up a lot already, and I’m trying to put it into action. I’ve got my own node running now, downloaded Bitcoin Core, and have the blockchain accessible so I can have at least some privacy in my transactions. Even messing around with my own miner. That’s a big step for me, and it feels good. There’s still so much I don’t know. 

I want to learn how to run a private relay, but it’s hard to figure out right now. I’m in this weird place - between houses and not making much money - so my options feel limited. But I’m trying to do what I can.

Ultimately, I’m just a photographer, musician, and Bitcoin pleb trying to get it right. I’m grateful for the community here and for the people who push me to keep learning, even when it’s uncomfortable. I just wanted to get this out there - thanks for listening.

Also, I do have some more photography prints that I’ll share later if anyone is interested. Trying to lighten the load 🤘🏼

Fun fact: this track was born during a late-night mushroom trip. I stayed up until 4 a.m., writing and painting. Mushrooms, man - they’re something else.

I’m not sure why, but my following list dropped by a lot. I’m not sure why. I was following around 250 or so and now it is showing only 75. 

I recently offloaded my Damus app on my iPhone to try and free up some storage, and I’m not sure if that was the cause of this. I may be overlooking something else.

 I’m surprised by the response to these tracks. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but sharing them here on #nostr has felt incredibly rewarding. These songs have been tucked away for a while since we’re no longer a band, so it’s nice to bring them back into the light. Huge thanks to @wavlake for building such an amazing platform.

Tonight, I’ve added another EP from Big Awesome, “Better Than Numbers” - our first record as a trio, released back in 2011. 

Here’s “Chariots” the first track. 

This one is filled with memories, though some are bittersweet. We lost two close friends who were instrumental in the project: Tim, who recorded Better Than Numbers and Birdfeeder, and Scott, our original bassist. Their loss is a reminder to love the people in your life deeply and make sure they know it. Sometimes, just being there can make a difference in ways we don’t realize.

 I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out a better way to upload videos directly into a client (Damus)? Sometimes the upload fails, possibly due to file size. I’m aware of Nostr.build, but I’d prefer to find a free alternative if possible.
