@8d62f4dd I got a Kindle Paperwhite of the 10th gen specifically to jailbreak it (I followed the mobiread forums and got one on ebay, when a new jailbreak was out).
I installed https://koreader.rocks and it's a great reading experience - even if I would not care about privacy and being free of DRM, koreader is just excellent.
(I got that Kindle for being waterproofed and robust, and it's likely my longest surviving eInk device now, despite being with me constantly for over 4 years.)
@9b5e2e1b I've tried the AUR neosurf-git package and ... it's not too much of a departure from netsurf for the gtk-part and the visurf variant is quite crashy ATM (click a link -> crash)
@33109f92 It has been optimized and initial bugs likely were fixed. It has been pretty good on my phones ever since 44 and GTK4/libadwaita.
Which distribution are you using?
@8d17c883 I agree. That said, once the universe runs out of working Pebbles, a watch with reflective, always on screen like the bangle.js2 is workable - it has haptic feedback that helps when navigating menus partially obscured by finger. (Still: Buttons win, 100%)
@7529feac@4d1b32f3 Which Display Link are you playing with? I need to continue tinkering with the a USB 2 UDL HP adapter recommended in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1gXsbBf8S_Y
From all I've read about the "newer variant", it generally works best in Ubuntu.
@db9ab784 You did not really miss it, it was published about an hour or two before finishing the Weekly Update - that was a very productive train ride :-)
@52d87c48 Do you have suspend enabled? I had a similar issue with (in my case) "everything is read only" when enabling suspend on postmarketOS booted from SD card. SInce the microSD card reader ADFAIK is connected over USB internally on the #Librem5 and USB being a bit notorious for being difficult with suspend resume, I suspect this is the issue.
(I have 0 experience with using the SD card in PureOS for /home; for I mounted a music folder for a while (read-only would have been okay)).
