A touchscreen on a smartwatch is just so dumb to me. My finger covers 3/4 of the screen when I go to touch anything on it and it's just so incredibly imprecise and annoying to use. Have gloves on? Your'e screwed. Hands are messy? Either your watch is getting gross too or you're screwed. 

 @8d17c883 I agree. That said, once the universe runs out of working Pebbles, a watch with reflective, always on screen like the bangle.js2 is workable - it has haptic feedback that helps when navigating menus partially obscured by finger. (Still: Buttons win, 100%)
