1. Are you expecting to not pay anything for server hosting?
2. How many people do you expect to be writing? How many of them have github accounts?
3. Have you ever gotten that group, orna similar-sized group, writing before? The biggest challenge isn't technical.
What's the best LoginWith "provider" if you don't want it to be Google/Gmail or another "commercial"/"silo" vendor?
(In 2021, Twitter might have been the answer.)
Github? Not enough non-devs will do it. (And does it still count as non-commercial since MS bought it?)
WordPress?
Or maybe you offer Github, plus classic email/password as fallback?
I'm especially thinking of a pattern for #ToolsForThought to follow....
