Trump rolled back climate change mitigation efforts during his first term and he has said he will roll them back further during this term. Given all the extreme weather we’re already having like Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton this is concerning. But election offices routinely receive death records from state and federal sources and then remove dead voters' names from voter rolls. Some still end up on the rolls. Occasionally, people illegally cast mail ballots in dead relatives' names, as a Republican did in 2020 in Nevada, but that is rare. That voter was charged with felonies.
