Trump rolled back climate change mitigation efforts during his first term and he has said he will roll them back further during this term. Given all the extreme weather we’re already having like Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton this is concerning. Besides states filing lawsuits against the federal government around public safety and the increased costs that Trump’s climate change policies have cost states already from his first term because of all the damage (its obviously is also increasing the cost of home insurance for many Americans too) I’m not sure what the solutions would be. https://apnews.com/article/trump-election-climate-pollution-oil-gas-clean-energy-f6ad39e23613396a7536fb1dc25fca62
