Total net greenhouse gas emissions in the European Union dropped by 8% last year, new figures reveal, meaning that greenhouse gas pollution in the 27-country bloc is now 37% below 1990 levels. It was despite GDP growing by 68% over the same period.

Yes, the EU’s significant emissions reductions are largely due to renewable energy expansion. However, this doesn’t fully account for emissions from the production of goods now outsourced to countries like China and India.
Plus our economies are collapsing even with the increase in GDP which doesn't account for inflation, population and unemployment. Such a twisted news piece.
and the increase there is more than the hardware they made there with that energy that got shipped here will ever compensate for... if you even actually believed this carbon dioxide bullshit at all, making stuff more efficient is the only path to better, and this is also obstructed by a law of economics that says increased efficiency leads to net increase of consumption

the simple fact is, the only way to reduce carbon dioxide emission is to kill people
btw the law i refer to is Jevon's Paradox - that as efficiency (mainly cost) increases, the net consumption also increases
