Damn yall, i had a hell of a scare on my walk just now. I had just turned onto one of our trails and saw 3 large dogs, all black. From that distance, i could only see that one of them was a german shepherd, the others maybe rottweillers, but not sure. They started coming toward me, so i fired a shot in their direction. 2 of them veered off, but the german sheperd kept coming at me. I started yelling loudly and it finally turned away too. Luckily Daisy had wandered into the woods before this encounter, so they didnt see her. I tried calling my husband in case they tried to follow me (i was a long way from the house), and my damned phone would not connect! I couldnt believe it! Anyway, no harm done, just got scared as shit. ALWAYS CARRY A GUN, YOU MIGHT NEED IT WHEN YOU LEAST EXPECT IT, AND YOUR PHONE MAY NOT WORK WHEN YOU NEED IT THE MOST.
Hey nostr, today we finally got around to getting internet signal from our main house to the bnb cabin, a little over 200 ft away. So now we have Starlink signal for both places, with one Starlink device. We asked for help from a nearby computer store guy, who told us what parts to buy, so it works great. Other than that i did some more watering of trees and plants, and got caught up on a few things. So its time to rest now. Yall have a good evening nostr friends. Mine are pretty hot too. The way i like to eat them is to chew them with my bite of food. They are the only hot peppers that dont give me any gut issues, plus peppers are good for you.
Good morning nostr friends, this morning its a bit at 51F, and later is expected to be in 70's. Now that is perfect weather for me. Today there is nothing special on the agenda, just the routine stuff on the homestead. I need to start making a list of food items we'll be having for thanksgiving weekend. We'll be out of town that thursday, but that weekend we'll have some family staying over, not sure how many yet.

I just tried doing that with alby today, before they shut down their custodial wallet. I was able to move all but 15 sats off of it. I think each wallet has their own rules for that, but when i tried moving the last few sats it said the amt did not meet minimum amt, so i gave up. Never messed with wos much though. You might try moving smaller amts at a time. Today with alby i tried moving the balance all at once, but didnt work (a few thousand sats). Then i tried moving smaller amts, which worked till it got down to 15 sats. Thats all i know about it.
Wth?? Thats wild. Like i said, just yesterday i was able to move most of mine out. Dont know if it makes a difference, but i was on desktop, using the alby browser plugin thing that i installed a good while back. Havent tried logging in to the main alby page in a while. Thats not right that they're blocking you. You might try asking them in a public question on nostr, tagging them. Dont remember when their deadline was for shutting down the custodial wallets.

For health ins, look into healthshare companies. Crowdhealth accepts btc , Zion healthshare also good. No more dealing with those damned ins companies that always screw you over.
Good morning nostr friends, its gonna be another warm day in the upper 80's, but right now its a crisp 55 F. Today after my walk, i really need to make another batch of comfrey salve, as i'm on my last little bit of it. Also, i want to take some time to check my btc setup to be sure everything is in good order. I can always improve on that. Besides that, i need to continue watering trees today. Oh, and just a little update on the Starlink, it has been working flawlessly so far, with no service interruptions. We were really getting frustrated with the previous service.
