6 weeks later- they’re still struggling with this.
great news @jack , with umbrelOS your engineering team should be able to figure out how to download BTCPay Server from the app-store, and you’ll be ready to go! if they have any trouble with that, please let me know. nostr:note1e0cmdhfn3xy54498g2wl2qeq0cfmgwyzks80q5u3jrvu0npef7ps6mgga5
i’ve had two ppl tell me i should pitch Lufta more like a B2B SaaS when i talk to big funds (who mostly invest in enterprise software).
i’d rather suck a BBC
that’s what i find interesting, i feel the level of adoption is not significantly different than where we were in 2017.
we have many new toys and ETFs, but still nobody wants to use bitcoin as money.
in theory, custodial btc should cost the same to transact in as any fiat solution.
if @jack decided to let ppl choose to use/accept bitcoin via square tomorrow- would ppl use bitcoin as money?

bitcoin was a great MoE in the silkroad days, when arguably it was more important as a MoE than SoV.
as long as bitcoin is worth >$0, it can be used as money, it does not need to be worth more to do this.
but bitcoin is rarely used as money anymore.
i only really care about seeing better trust-minimised two-ways pegs.
there’s liquid, there’s the drivechain approach but my preference is pegs permissionlessly enforced by proofs.
part of my idyllic long term mission, but logistics/defence is the key commercially for now.
because they’re pussies, there are other start-ups/companies out there working on airships but none are ambitious enough to do anything that makes sense commercially.
