@0e603666 I hadn't realised Bandcamp had been sold again. I really hope nothing stupid happens to it - I'm very much in favour of things staying more or less as they are, although I suppose that's not terribly likely.
@a775c9d7 I've never actually seen that. It's been on my To Watch list since it first came out, but I've just never quite got round to it. Thanks for the reminder. 😊
@a1dedbb4 Morning! It's fairly obvious what Niko wants there! I'm constantly asking Marmite what she wants, and sometimes she even shows me, but also there's often a look of mute incomprehension, as if to say, "Why don't you understand me??"
@f37dab75 Lords of Chaos know what possessed me, but I did actually watch the offending video. He should be shut in a very small box for a very long time.
I've just seen and heard Laurence Fox for the first time. What a total, irredeemable wanker. I'm glad I'm not sharing a social media platform with him anymore. Musk can have him.
@09c8d8dc It hurt giving up on "Fracture" and "Indiscipline" particularly, but I think overall LTIA is my favourite, with "LTIA1" and "Talking Drum" just edging it as favourite tracks, although I think the whole thing is a masterpiece. Really *really* looking forward to the new LTIA box set.
@09c8d8dc Actually, I'm second guessing myself and thinking that perhaps the "KC at 50" box set should represent King Crimson. Such a wide range of truly phenomenal music.
#3AlbumsYouWouldTakeToADesertIsland
1. King Crimson - "Larks' Tongues In Aspic"
2. Van Der Graaf Generator - "Pawn Hearts"
3. Mothers of Invention - "We're Only In It For The Money".
@977b8ddc I'm really sorry to hear it - it's exhausting on its own. In my case it wasn't disruptively painful, but the pain was always there. I tried everything - pills, hospital, Chinese medicine, acupuncture. Zip. No effect at all. And then gradually it just disappeared. Which I hope will happen for you very soon.
#NowPlaying King Crimson - "Lark's Tongues In Aspic (2012 remix)"
The 50th anniversary version is out in a few weeks, and I can't wait to hear it, as the set contains every take recorded. The completist in me wants nothing less.

@977b8ddc Sorry to hear that. After I had my ulcer treated (a very long time ago), I had to go gluten-free for several years and had IBS. Tried everything to get rid of it, but eventually it just sort of went away.
@fc8fb489 Yes, it's certainly possible. Caroline and I were big fans of it. I must watch it again, actually. I probably haven't seen it since we watched it then.
@fc8fb489 Usually when I'm doing these things, Jedna Ruka Netleská (One Hand Can't Clap) doesn't get a look in, and I felt it deserved some love. Great Czech dark comedy.
First lesson with the boys completed. Level B2 is way too easy for them. I think I'll have to up the ante in order to be of use to them. Not a problem, I'm glad I know now.
#NowPlaying Robert Fripp - "Music For Quiet Moments"
Always my go to when I need to take my mind off things. This lot got me through the first year of the pandemic.
