Politicians are really good manipulators, amazing skill. Without it their shortcomings cannot be covered up, even when there are facts. Scary how people accept lies without going to the root cause.

Italy just issued a persona non-grata order for you. If you step in Italy now you will be introduced in a super Mario simulation and will be jumped on.
Stop doing crazy things like these.
It amazes me how schools and universities shove socialism on students. From a moral high ground of inclusion and truth based on objective facts. Somehow nobody says that socialism did not work after it was tested on half the planet for 40 years.
Love how they give the example of Nordic countries and how well socialism works in Norway. Norway with their sovereign wealth fund owning massive stakes in all the businesses around the world.
I am sure the government will love to tax BTC and will keep the fiat as the base on which to apply the tax. This will be discussed. Then what should we do? What do you think? Move around to better tax systems?
I have not yet researched tax jurisdictions. It would be quite a hassle to do it in practice that is for sure.
What is always a question in the back of my mind is that we do KYC for the exchanges, so there is data on BTC transactions and where these have been moved into self custody. Governments would track you to impose a tax like death itself. Is it likely that a government will call your exchange and demand all transactions unde KYC and then send you a letter? I think it is possible. Anonymity seems then to be the only solution really.
What are your thoughts on that? Or do you know a system to use something like Monero and then again transfer to BTC. I really have no clue.
Holy Flying Fish of the Mariana Trench.
Ok probably we are not getting the same percentages, but 4000 years of 500,000$ per day earnings is not enough to cover a few months of US borrowing.
Spoiler alert and it’s not because of the leap years.
#Nostr is amazing. What is quite annoying about social media is that society changes the goal posts all the time. In the sense that what was said 20 years ago has become wrong and you get called out about it. Will future generations judge us by their standards and from a different perspective. I am sure about this.
Look the present system is really well designed. This is modern slavery, there is just no way you can get ahead and store the value of your work. But there is this #Bitcoin thing. Everyone can have some sats.
#Poland has been a country that always impressed, especially after the fall of communism in the 90s. Did you know they did not really feel the 2008 crisis. Their army is strong and they have great leadership. I bet they will be the first with a #BTC reserve.
Schools and universities put dangerous ideals in the minds of the students. Ask yourself this: why is socialism on the rise? Why does nobody consider what happened behind the Iron Curtain for what is was: the greatest experiment on half the planet. Poverty, censorship, nationalization, mass genocide etc.
The goal posts are shifting because our youth are put on a path that has been traveled before but nobody told them the inevitable unfolding.
I have not read her book. So not an informed opinion. But the west really needs to understand what the Iron Curtain created, nothing good. To my mind it was an experiment in far left socialism that engulfed half of the planet. And it failed miserably. Our schools and universities put dangerous ideals in the minds of the young.
The Central Banks said to their fiat paper:
“That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore;”
Let God be God, us humans are not to intervene with others in such a manner and hold such power.
In other words people see it as a store of value and not an investment that can get a higher rate of return on the cash invested. Plus the rates and inflation are high. It’s the trick people are used to.
