 never brooken one either. I'm on my 3rd phone. Yes, I refurbish them and change batteries. Still run my old Samsung Note 3 i bought for 2 Bitcoin in 2013. And I use Spigen Tough Armor on my latest Pixel running GrapheneOS ,✌️
