I’m looking for a good AI assistant/chat that runs on iOS. It should support file uploads and be able to search through documents. Image generation would be great. It can also cost something monthly, preferably payable via Lightning. Which one can you recommend?

Socialist solutions often come from desperation, not ignorance or malice. Many people are blind to the system because we were born into it. These solutions aren’t malicious, but homegrown. Most people share the same goal of freedom but can’t see the solution. Bitcoin is just one step, not the solution to all problems. Bitcoin’s for everyone because it’s a tool, not a political stance. Even a leftist can be a Bitcoiner – they just need to broaden their view.
When you strip everything down and compare, what really sets us apart is human connection, like respect and hate. It’s what divides us into being either open-minded or authoritarian.
Let go of hate and authoritarianism, and don’t force your way of life on anyone – respect theirs, even if it means making a few compromises.

Besides the things already mentioned, self-custodial LBTC. I don’t know of any other hardware wallet that can be paired with iOS and Android via Bluetooth. Blockstream’s Green Wallet works really well for this. The Windows app is also very simple, and so far, I haven’t found anything I don’t like. You never know which phone you’ll have in the future, and I think wireless mobile use is great in case you ever need it, without the seed phrase being online. Otherwise, you can just add a watch-only wallet to receive Bitcoin.
Since updating to iOS 18, Damus keeps crashing, loads slowly, and I can no longer tap on images to interact with them (copy, save, etc.). Is anyone else experiencing these issues?
I don't know Airtm, so I'm not sure if you need to send the amount to another wallet first. But you could send it to a wallet like Exodus and then use simpleswap.io (cheaper than directly in Exodus) to exchange it into BTC. You should check if the amount isn't too small. I used Simpleswap a lot during my crypto days back then and never had any problems.
Don’t waste your time with toxic bitcoiners who focus on hatred in politics and personal views, and questionable personal opinions that have nothing to do with Bitcoin but are declared as universally valid. Instead, put into action what Bitcoin should stand for: peace and individual freedom.

I received a lightning payment (90k!) on Sunday to my old Wallet of Satoshi wallet and I don’t know who it’s from or what it’s for. It’s driving me crazy, and I’m wondering if I sent something to myself that I can’t remember. I couldn’t find any proof 😂
I think I should stop messing around.
Some people think that the less the government supports #Bitcoin, the better it is for Bitcoin. I don't believe it matters much. It only changes the 'how' and not the 'if'.
If you want to set your #Damus app to English even though your phone is running in a different language, you can simply go to your iOS settings and scroll down to Damus. Then just change the preferred language.
In my opinion, a certain degree of trust is completely fine as long as it's voluntary and you have alternatives. Fiat is not voluntary, and that's the problem.
I'm talking about my personal friends mostly. I'm into very different things than they are. Everyone uses WhatsApp, and a few use Telegram. Saying "let's switch to Keet" in the WhatsApp group doesn't work at all. I doubt anyone even clicked on the link 😂
We've got it too good, I suppose.
The CEO was arrested for not moderating chats. He was later released. After that, Telegram's terms of service were changed. Now, chats can be monitored and reported.
In my opinion, @AQUA Wallet has a very good chance of becoming THE wallet for everything if it would support hardware wallets like green wallet and allow users to set their own Lightning address. #bitcoin
What I do:
– Keep my savings/ #bitcoin in cold storage
– utxo management
– Use #Nostr
– Be able to #zap (send small payments)
What I won't do:
– lightning self custody
– Deal with channel management
– Become a developer to understand everything
Thanks to all the developers who are making everything user-friendly for people like me.
If you buy bitcoin with KYC, there will be a record of it that an authority or anyone else could refer to. Regardless of what happens to it afterward. In my opinion, depending on where you live, there's no problem as long as you keep an eye on the regulations. What's certain is that you will always be required to provide proof. Whether a boating accident would be sufficient as an explanation, I don't know.
