I haven't seen the series, but I have enjoyed many lectures and documentaries of his. He brings up some great questions, and displays several "oddities" that do appear to have a global (or larger) connection.

So, Coracle may have exposed my nsec, but there's no way to find out. I'm thinking I'll spin up a new nsec when I have a real Internet connection again. Which, fingers crossed, will happen this week.
Even though I'm stuck with throttled bandwidth until we get Internet connected at home, I log into Nostr daily. It's certainly a different experience. It feels like I'm looking through a small portal window, and putting my note into a pneumatic tube, knowing that I won't see replies or reactions until I can get back inside some day.
It takes several minutes to load my feed, and the same posts from six days ago load first. After several more minutes, I'll get yesterdays notes, but only with blurred images, and replies to the note (other than the replies by OP) are non-existent.
Sometimes my feed is missing people entirely, as I will see their posts the next day between posts that I've already read.
Sometimes waiting doesn't even give me anything. With no indicator, it's a guessing game as to when to make another attempt at loading my feed.
Whether it's overkill/expensive depends on your finances. I say "go for it", since you still might make small batches for experimenting even after you scale up (if you do).
Or, if they seem like something you won't use again, sell them for sats to get another newbie-fermenter started in the craft.

When I've introduced people, I've encouraged/recommended mostly:
1. * Be aware of "set and setting". *
Be with friends (not required), in a familiar and safe environment. I like spontaneity, however, it's best to have certain factors "controlled" for your first experiences. For example, if there's someone that you don't trust, you won't want them around. For similar reasons, it's probably best to avoid the general public. Being in nature will always be better than a populated city/town. I can't stand cars in motion when I'm tripping. Trees are much more fun to deal with.
Have "implements of creativity" at the ready. Musical instruments, paints, paper, writing insteuments, etc.
TV/movies usually deadens my trips. I don't grok people that trip, then stare at any type of screen for more than a few minutes. Fractal making software blew my mind, so screens aren't something to avoid, but lean toward abstractness, compared to stories with a plot.
2. Set an intention!
This is important whether you're tripping for fun or therapy. Have a clear intention of what you want out of the experience, and state it out loud as you partake. This has tremendous power, so it might be good to define the day beforehand.
3. Enjoy, observe, and learn!
YouTube seems to attempt to steer people toward certain topics, and specific levels of quality. It only appears to be loosely based on what you've watched before.

My take on unions is that they should be temporary. Solve the problem, then dissolve the union (until next time). Otherwise, the union just becomes another centralized heirarchy of power that is hell-bent on exploiting everyone.
On the topic of strikes: I see them as fear based soft-terrorism. If someone disrespects you (deliberately doesn't deliver what was promised), LEAVE THEM FOREVER! Get them out of your reality.
But ... but ... but ... ... ... I don't care what someone's excuse is to strike, they are too afraid that they are incapable of anything other than sucking corporate cock. They are also afraid that God, ancestors, etc will not support their move to power and independence, so they submit to some asshole instead. It doesn't get much wimpier than that.
Can you imagine saying, "Hey disrespectful person, let me coherce you away from your own freedom so I that I can be a slave with more comfortable shackles!"?

I've found (for me) it's not the distance, but the drive. If I have a good view, and friendly drivers, I'm good! It can certainly eat up the day though!
