"This world" must be an odd place. Friends getting together to shoot is common here. Or, are you saying that you're a horrible shot?
Maybe it's time to put out the word to friends, co-workers (and co-workers of friends), family, (and family of co-workers, friends of family, co-workers of ... you get the idea) to go out for a "turkey shoot" and gun cleaning expedition? 😀
