The entrance into the Depths under Tobio's Hollow. The first time you go there, you enter a cutscene and appear below; but if you actually go back there, you can slowly descend into the Depths. I found all the lightroots in the Depths. They give you an item that seems to do nothing. @Christi Junior Thought the same days ago, thinking the game just had no acknowledgement for lighting up the Depths; but then I saw there was this one with a tiny amount of darkness surrounding it. Miniscule. You'd have to inspect the map carefully to find it.
Guys, you're not gonna want to miss this pro tip. So, after completing the last lightroot, I found a Yiga base I hadn't seen before. It was right under a chasm. As I finish, the dragon music kicks in. I look up and it's Farosh entering the Depths through that chasm. Making use of my endgame item, the paraglider, I climb on it. If you strike the dragon from above, the item that falls off it is actually there for a moment and you can grab it without jumping off the dragon. Dragons take ~10 minutes to recharge before you can get another item from them. You know what that means? I played the first one on a borrowed switch. I don’t really feel like bothering this person again so is this game worth buying a switch for?
@:catnoears: Royper :gundam: Depends on how much you enjoyed the previous game. If you liked the previous one, then definitely. Less objectively now: if you don't find this game worth buying a Switch, I'm not sure any other game could justify the purchase either.

The weird part of BG3 is that the animal fucking us a miniscule part of the game that can only happen if you romance a certain character in a certain way. Why it was promoted as a big deal or a key part is only explainable if they were actively trying to appeal to degens which again is weird because the other 99.9% of the game has nothing to do with that 10 second scene. I really just don't get it at all. Why advertise shit like that for your game? Public perception of the game goes from "best RPG released this year, GOTY for sure" to "pozzed animal fucking game for degen fucks" as soon as you show and promote degeneracy like that.

@43a37488 @Rasterman @SapientPearwood The character creator alone makes Baldur's Gate 3 shit in my eyes: It only lets you select "body type" and "identity", not your sex, "nonbinary" is a valid category, the default human being is a nigger etc. Some people also mock the game for having a vitiligo option. I have no strong opinions on that, but apparently that's also a somewhat advanced form of virtue signaling.

The weirdest part to me was when Astarion asks to feed on you to sate his craving for blood. Reasonable request but instead of being a normal non-sexual thing there were heavy sexual undertones and it leads to Astarion having a hard-on for you for the rest of the game. Absolutely disgusting.

@Christi Junior GOTY is clearly going to be Baldur's Gate 3. With all the homosexuality in it, it couldn't be any other way. That line alone disqualifies the game from any Western media award show. The question would be if the game journalists made it past the Great Sky Island. @Christi Junior @Rasterman i really like using the flamethrower shield or sticking red slime to a shield because it explodes :doge_laugh: also been using the fans to push enemies of cliffs or using bat wings to get precise shoots at those bokoblin convoys that carry green slime parts
Especially the kart and bomb shields I would not have known if I wasnt such an autist
@Christi Junior @43a37488 I tried a lot of shield combos trying to find a way to finish the unlit shrine. It seems the wing and fan do nothing. For a moment, I thought I could maybe shield surf and then glide; but the only way to do that was behind Ganondorf.
@43a37488 @Christi Junior Good. Basically, if you can target something with Ultrahand, you can also use Fuse on it, so there are a lot of combinations to try.
