The entrance into the Depths under Tobio's Hollow. The first time you go there, you enter a cutscene and appear below; but if you actually go back there, you can slowly descend into the Depths. It's a simple thing; but after a dozen or so chasms, I found it impressive they had a different way you could use to make it down there.

I found all the lightroots in the Depths. They give you an item that seems to do nothing. But at least it's not a golden turd like with the korok seeds on BotW.

@Rasterman I thought I had done that, but I never got a medal - guess I must have missed one :thinkin:
@Christi Junior Thought the same days ago, thinking the game just had no acknowledgement for lighting up the Depths; but then I saw there was this one with a tiny amount of darkness surrounding it. Miniscule. You'd have to inspect the map carefully to find it.
Guys, you're not gonna want to miss this pro tip.

So, after completing the last lightroot, I found a Yiga base I hadn't seen before. It was right under a chasm. As I finish, the dragon music kicks in. I look up and it's Farosh entering the Depths through that chasm. Making use of my endgame item, the paraglider, I climb on it.

If you strike the dragon from above, the item that falls off it is actually there for a moment and you can grab it without jumping off the dragon.

Dragons take ~10 minutes to recharge before you can get another item from them. You know what that means? If you stay on the dragon an hour you'll get six pieces! :0060: It's easy dragon parts! :0330:

It has not been a good day until I hear a korok make that sound. :0550:

Looking at a major boss flying around while I ride a dragon.
The Depths have a unique vibe. :0010:

I played the first one on a borrowed switch. I don’t really feel like bothering this person again so is this game worth buying a switch for?
@:catnoears: Royper :gundam: Depends on how much you enjoyed the previous game.

If you liked the previous one, then definitely.

Less objectively now: if you don't find this game worth buying a Switch, I'm not sure any other game could justify the purchase either.
@Rasterman @:catnoears: Royper :gundam: I'd say Xenoblade 2 and 3, Mario Odyssey and Smash Ultimate are all superior Switch exclusives to the Zelda games.
@Christi Junior @:catnoears: Royper :gundam: What a nonsensical post; but I'd guess you'd have to be a big Zelda fan like me to see it.
Bro, those birds are paper-thin. And here I was thinking I could hunt them. They're straight out of a Game & Watch stage.

If this game had been made by a AAA Western studio, those birds would've been real and taken an extra GB of space in the cartridge due to their unoptimised 4K textures.

I don’t want to hurt the dragon
@Turdicus, of the Rain If the dragon doesn't like me taking its scales, why doesn't it attack me? :thinkin: I say the dragon is generous and likes giving you fangs and claws.
@Rasterman ....I can see why you have so many hours in this game.
