I should really really consider doing a long fast one day… I’m fully aware it’s very beneficial for your health, but it’s still intimidating! 
 I was really intimidated at first too. 
I learned quickly that when I was hungry to drink Water with lemon and Himalayan sea salt. I carry a gallon jug around with me all day. 

It subsided my hunger and I felt so good. 

Also, the hunger goes away towards the middle of the second day, and you don’t even think about it. 

My Meditation practices played a huge role as well. I was able to push out any thoughts or worry of hunger. 

I honestly think the longer fasts are easier than the shorter ones for some reason. If someone would have said that to me a couple of years ago I would have thought they were nuts! 😁🤣

 You make it sound easy, that’s for sure! I like that you stay hydrated with lemon and salt. That’s how I like to start my day. 

I guess I need to start working on my meditation before I reach your Master level 🙏 
 It’s so refreshing!! 

Oh nohhh, I’m far from a master. It’s a daily learning experience. But I’m enjoying the ride. 😁 
 It is easy.. when you get to the other side of hunger you come to a place that you yearn to get back to. Fasting is addicting.  I am starting to view my “fasting self” as my true self and my “fed self” as an illusion.  Kind of like drunk self, sober self? 

Once you decide, don’t negotiate. Your mind will fall in line once it knows you aren’t messing around. 

That’s not to say you don’t get hungry, but what is hunger?  I thought?  You’re going to let a thought stop you from an experience?  No. 
 Hunger is *a thought* not I thought
