@Fe₂🦀₃⋅H₂🦀 can't we elect someone who would *win* WW3?
@9d84a649 too late for that sorry
@Fe₂🦀₃⋅H₂🦀 Man for real I can ride with the Hitler jokes, but that guy was a complete moron. Like an absolute retard. STOP GOING TO WAR WITH EVERYONE AT THE SAME TIME!
Listen to your generals!
THIS WAS WINNABLE! A few years more and the a-bomb would have made germany untouchable.
 @9d84a649 can't tell :niggahitler: nothin

hitler didn't choose to go to war with everyone, everyone chose to go to war with germany years before the first tank crossed a border
@d @Fe₂🦀₃⋅H₂🦀 Didn't Germany have a deal with the soviets in regards to polen? Did they really have to push into russia afterwards?

Stalin was absolutely planning on betraying Germany.

And how was Hitler to know the US would ship infinity weapons and vehicles to the Soviets no strings attached? The Soviets would've been toast without that support, whatever gay story the Russians tell themselves about it today.

I don't think Hitler was a strategic genius but Germany didn't lose because of his bad decisions. Germany lost because the entire western world conspired to destroy it.
@d @Fe₂🦀₃⋅H₂🦀 Idk. It all seemed doomed to fail. Germany was not a big country yet they were planning on taking all of europe (minus itally), some bits of africa and russia?
Would that have ever worked even without US intervention? I can't really believe that. Maybe I completely wrong, but I do wonder if it wasn't somehow possible to not expand so much.
Sure russia would have backstabbed, but what if we had enough power to defend?

If the US hadn't been backing everyone with unprecedented material support, followed by direct involvement in the war, Germany would've won and the world would be a much better place today.

Hitler wasn't trying to conquer and absorb all that territory, he was trying to briefly defeat them and find peace. He tried to make peace with Britain like a dozen times.

Waiting for the Soviets to attack would've been absolutely insane. You don't wait for the enemy to attack on their terms, you spoil their attack by striking first. The fact that the Soviets were planning to attack Germany is why they had so much trouble when Germany attacked them first: their disposition of forces was all wrong for defense of their own territory.

There are a lot of parallels between Russia's position now and Germany's position back then, including the fact that Ukraine was planning to attack the eastern oblasts and Russia preempted them. And while Russia is in pretty good shape so far -- contrary to the popular narrative in the west -- it's not out of the question that they'll end up being destroyed just as Germany was. Certainly that's what the western elites want, but it really depends on whether or not the west decides a nuclear war is acceptable.
@d @Fe₂🦀₃⋅H₂🦀 I concede on the military aspect. The only point I still have some doubts about is Hitler himself. Was he a hindrance to the war efforts or a help? He is often portrayed as this unhinged "nein nein nein nein" guy with an obsession for big guns. That obsession has made him ignore techs like jet-engine for too long. (IIRC)
Whats your opinion on the man himself? Would someone else have lead better?
@d @Fe₂🦀₃⋅H₂🦀 Also interesting the parallels to russia today are interesting. Western media also tries to portray Putin as mad with a lust for power.

They have a pretty thin playbook, yeah.
They portray everyone who gets in their way as stupid, evil, genocidal nutcases who are secretly gay.

They did it to every Roman emperor who burnt down Judea.
They did it to every Pagan king who threw them out of Europe.
They did it to every Christian king who threw them out of Europe.
They did it to Bismark.
They did it to Hitler.
They did it to Saddam.
They did it to Gaddafi.
They did it to Assad.
They did it to every Muslim leader from the 1900's to now.
Now they're doing it to Putin.

You don't even have to be anti-Semitic, just in the way.
Putin isn't even strictly opposed to the Jews, he's just in the way right now and they makes him the devil.

I don't think another leader in Germany would've substantially changed things. Details of the war might have been different but Germany still would've lost, and still would've suffered horrible treatment by the Allies post-war.

What needed to change was American leadership. But international jewry was busy assassinating populists like Huey Long to make sure that didn't happen.
I think that if Hitler had taken a more decentralised approach and positioned himself more as a general leader for White people he might have lost Germany but won the overall war. If the Nazi's had been a worldwide "terrorist" faction like the Taliban, instead of a local Nationalist group forced into being a global power they would have lasted through the war and ultimately overthrew the Jews in power.

That's basically what the Arab leaders did post war and despite the many problems the middle east has today, at least the people in those countries are gaining ground and aren't afraid to fight back.

Of course, to be fair to Hitler, it would have been pretty difficult to predict how things were gonna go during his time. He did his best with the information he had available and even doing that you can still fail miserably.
 > He is often portrayed as this unhinged "nein nein nein nein" guy
He accidentally invented methamphetamines. Shit happens.

Eradicated country of degenerate drug addicts and prostitutes.

Accidentally invent meth and turn everyone into drug addicts.
Him declaring war on the US after Pearl Harbor and giving the interventionists the push they needed to overcome the isolationists was bad. The Japs didn't help either tbf if they just stuck to defeated European colonial assets.

None of that mattered. FDR et al. would've manufactured a casus belli if one wasn't provided to them. Lusitania 2, perhaps.
He would have tried certainly but was having difficulty convincing people with the US naval war.
d | 1 years ago (raw) | root | parent | reply | flag +3
When someone has decided they're going to find a way to go to war with you, especially someone like FDR, they're going to find a way.

It's silly to pretend that Germany could've threaded that needle and indulging the thought yields the wrong lesson.
I hope not. If the zionists manage to defeat Russia that will be a civilizational tragedy for another 80 years probably

:02shrug: The longer Putin refuses to recognize his real enemies, the more he puts his nation at risk.
Very possible that he does. I don't know.

If so, he's got a real problem with the whole "everybody I hate is a nazi" rhetoric in Russia
I assume there are some shadow metrics running on a DoD server that continue to flash a red LED whenever they ask if it’s okay for the US to get involved and push harder.
They took France and Poland pretty quick, and Hitler wanted an alliance with England due to being a bit of an Anglophile.
