@40cd5708 Describing people who are playing the lottery as "suckers" is un-empathetic at best.
I'm not going to defend the odds, but people play because they need a little hope. A few hours of daydreaming that they can get out of the rat race.
As much as I like to take shots at the GOP, the origins & expansion of the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL) are bipartisan.
