People were willing to pay the tradesmen because it is through the labor of their skilled hands that things are done right, that knowledge and skill is worth paying for. It was not necessarily just paying for the task - it was paying for the task to be done in a lasting, knowing fashion. Anyone who says that the trades, just as higher learning, should be abandoned is a bitter saboteur at best.
Which below-grug-tier retards are saying we should abandon the trades? That's just objectively retarded. Tradesmen work the lines, engineers the plants. We need our men in both.
The problem is, is that these same ‘below-grug-tier’ people are actually simply saying we should cede everything, from higher education and learning to the humble but knowledgeable trades, because of some nefarious association with judaism that they refuse to explain. It is people using the lexicon of our social group to enforce their backwards worldview, thinking the buzzwords alone make their argument. They figure that if they can claim the ground first with those words that anyone who questions them or their argument is suddenly suspicious; the most immature way to posit an argument.
If I recall the thread the gist was that White people should just be nobles with nice clean hands and offices while an unidentified pleb does the work of keeping the lights on. It is the reciprocal of the chappo traphouse kids that write stuff like "under communism I'd run a library reading corner..." or some other unrealistic job that isn't "dig the fucking hole"
@Radians @svantovit @owl. absolute goobers if you don't have competent White men paid well enough to give a shit about their jobs working in the trade and the white collar jobs, you don't get lights that turn on.
Another problem of giving up trades is that nobody has the tools to undertake them anymore. When my forefathers passed I inherited their tools many of which are over a century old and no longer understood or in production.
If I had lived in my mother's hometown, I think I would've asked my uncle to teach me carpentry. I wouldn't mind doing residential electrical work, either; I enjoyed working with my hands towards an end goal. There is no end goal in the office. That's half of the tedium. It crushes the spirit of the Aryan.
"The Aryan regards work as the foundation for the maintenance of the community of the people amongst its members. The jew regards work as the means to the exploitation of other peoples. The jew never works as a productive creator without the great aim of becoming the master. He works unproductively, using and enjoying other people's work." https://history.hanover.edu/courses/excerpts/111hit1.html
I don't want to go back to the plants. I already worked with morons who operated the wrong thing at the wrong time, claiming they saw me do it before. I'd like to think that a high standard has been maintained within the engineering disciplines that require every operator be competent, but knowing how strong the push from above can be to meet quotas, I can only imagine how much worse it's gotten. I'm not confident that being able to go home at the end of every day is something I can count on, and I'd rather not waste my time finding out.
