Front door is hung and cedar shake complete on the 20ft tiny house https://i.nostr.build/xVB3.jpg https://i.nostr.build/axML.jpg Finally completed the door for the tiny house and got it hung. The last of the cedar shake is installed too. All that's left is the finish trim around the door frame and some paint on the window trim front of the tiny house is done. I'm looking forward to hosting all sorts students, instructors, and guests in it over the years. #homesteading #carpentry #woodworking #tinyhouse #meshtadel #grownostr nostr:nevent1qqsps4v899z3f522hwy8270hzlrgr2vfa269c9rke4gqa88zej8y85spzemhxue69uh5ummnw3ezumn0dahx2uewvdhk6q3qf5pre6wl6ad87vr4hr5wppqq30sh58m4p33mthnjreh03qadcajsxpqqqqqqzlxstzy
Nice job Rev 👍🏻
Looks awesome, great work
Beautiful. I love it.
Love this!! I'd love to get a plot and build one! Heat it with some mining rigs ⚡🧡 nostr:nevent1qqsw0zunq0m3au5hvawufvuyk44wgw58fc3uzlwaw8r26x8ary84muqppamhxue69uhkummnw3ezumt0d5pzqngz8n5al4660uc8tw8guzzqpzlp0g0h2rrrkh08y8nwlzp6m3m9qvzqqqqqqy23wc6h
It's so small one S9 would be more than enough. Even better would be a single board s19 Loki rig. Could even run it during the day with solar.
The tiny house I've been building for the last 7 years is moving into position this week! https://i.nostr.build/jYB4l.jpg With only a few finishing touches left on the interior of the tiny house it's time to move it into position. Then I'll give it a good cleaning, furnish it and start hosting guests. https://i.nostr.build/BR57K.jpg https://i.nostr.build/zdlOV.jpg https://i.nostr.build/oMvWl.jpg Did a little family tree felling on mother's day to make room for the tiny house to fit into position. Both trees were already dead so the wood will be dry enough come winter to burn in the rocket mass heater to heat the house. If you're planning on attending the Lake Satoshi Retreat this August, consider making a pitstop at the homestead on your way too or from. There are dates available at both the yurt and the tiny house. DM for more details. https://bitcoin101.io/lake-satoshi-retreat-2023/ #homesteading #permaculture #permies #meshtadel #tinyhouse #arborist nostr:nevent1qqsw0zunq0m3au5hvawufvuyk44wgw58fc3uzlwaw8r26x8ary84muqpzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68ytnzv9hxgq3qf5pre6wl6ad87vr4hr5wppqq30sh58m4p33mthnjreh03qadcajsxpqqqqqqznannpv
Nice! Where is this. Looks like a nice piece of land.
This belongs in a dreamlike fairytale. I mean that in a good way btw.
🤩🤩 that’s so exciting!!!
I’d love to see more of the interior!

Somebody just referred me over to you. I build solar powered off grid tiny homes, and the Pacific Northwest if you ever have any questions!
20ft tiny house is in position sooner than expected! https://i.nostr.build/lLWPv.jpg https://i.nostr.build/8G5xG.jpg https://i.nostr.build/PORM5.jpg Had the move scheduled with a friend who had a big enough truck for later in the week but their schedule suddenly freed up and we were able to move the tiny house into position sooner than expected. The sheep are working their way towards the tiny house in this pasture so I'm going to let them graze around it first before I start doing any landscaping. Not celebrating the completion of this long term project just yet but definitely accomplished a big milestone by getting it planted. #homesteading #meshtadel #tinyhouse #grownostr nostr:nevent1qqs2q0y4n0n5gs56eqwj7kscp3wg92lvpr8e3yvl20c25js3cxhc84gpp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqzypxsy08fmlt45leswkuw3cyyqz97z7slw5xx8dw7wg0xa7yr4hrk2qcyqqqqqqggtnc35

The tiny house custom RV is complete and earning revenue for the homestead! https://i.nostr.build/eE9XKZkIe7Gm7yJE.jpg https://i.nostr.build/PnFuJnEl7ISuutbR.jpg After seven and a half years, I've finally completed and put the tiny house RV I've been building into operation at the homestead. https://i.nostr.build/70KtdAGxQiIndLQ4.jpg https://i.nostr.build/8Ww4T89YeHaY7i4M.jpg I started building it in November 2016 thinking I could complete the project in a year but I fell victim to the common homesteading practice of building many systems at once. Since my time and energy was split between so many projects at once, the time I had for working on the tiny house was quickly narrowed down to a few months in the winter. nostr:nevent1qqsyggx69p48va855yz8t9qvuj0f8nxas79qd4cwtk764ml6dv8f37qh44kgc The days were short and the weather was challenging, plus I was learning many of the techniques from scratch, teaching myself as I went. This made for very slow progress. https://i.nostr.build/qWuWT8Qfzgw434cV.jpg However, there were some benefits of moving small and slow on the project. I was able to avoid making any critical/costly mistakes. I also had lots of time to souce cheap and unique reclaimed/recycled materials. Plus, I was able to totally customize and build each component to be unique, leading to it feeling like a work of art rather than a construction project. https://i.nostr.build/Woqo2EzbGal2g4XH.jpg https://i.nostr.build/cJ5oUlKgFH606i7o.jpg For now, I don't think I'll be taking on another project of this scale again anytime soon. But in the end, I taught myself all the skills to build a house from framing and roofing to plumbing and electrical, on down to the finishing techniques for trim. https://i.nostr.build/SRxY1eOrdNKksWRb.jpg The intellectual and experiencial capital was definitely worth having so much financial capital tied up in the project for so long. Before I know it, I will have earned it all back anyway leaving me with much more capital than I started with. Low time preference paying off. #permaculture #permies #homesteading #meshtadel #carpentry #woodworking #tinyhouse nostr:nevent1qqsqts75em2lukwlkrzgcnpv0cvepmakul6a940efq6t3cmjsvagz8gppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qgsy6q3ua80awknlxp6m368qssqghct6ra6scca4meepumhcswkuwegrqsqqqqqp8d2exw
Really cute!
Awesome
It looks great!
Interesting! You had to follow local zoning laws or you just..built it? (I know depends a lot on jurisdiction)
It's an RV and I'm zone agricultural so it's very lax.
Interesting! Where I am from, even mobile homes permits in agricultural land is very strict, like max 6 months and it MUST have functional wheels to demonstrate is not permanent establishment. I always been envious of boomers, they basically bought cheap land, built villas and then paid a simple fine: boom premium real estate!
What a pimp
